No hot water for the first night/morning of our stay. Apparently the hot water was switched off. The staff resolved the issue for the next night/morning. Our room had a nice view but overlooked a busy, noisy area.

There could have been a kettle, tea and coffee in the room. Although the waiters served every customer and brought coffee during breakfast, they looked away from me at breakfast on both days and did not bring service. I wondered if I was discriminated against and felt a little sad.

First of all, the location is great, right across the Dom cathedral. I did not use any public transportation during my 2-night stay because it is 5 minutes walk from the train station and close to the touristic places. My room was clean and nice. There was no kettle in the room, so when I asked the reception for hot water, they brought a kettle to my room. Also the breakfast was very good.

Location was excellent, 2 minute walk from the Cathedral. Young lady on the desk knew I was English but was very accommodating with my speaking German and let carry on and helped me in German.

The mattress was a bit hard (for one of us). A fridge or minibar would have been nice.

The hotel is a short walk from the main station. There are several bars and restaurants in the area. We could see the spires of the Dom if we hung out of the window.

The location is really central like 5-7min from central train station (HBF). The room was large, clean, cozy and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great stay!

No air con in the room. We were fortunate that it was April and we could open the windows for cooling, but this did mean we were woken by the cathedral bells at 7.30. No extraction in the bathroom either.

The location is fantastic, two minutes walk from the station and one minute from the cathedral. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great breakfast too. (A kettle was provided on request)

We wanted explicitely a quiet room preferably not on the street side. It was a surprise to hear only after payingn the bill theat the hotel cannot guarantee quiet room because it is in the middle of the city. No mentioning of the potential problem in the description. We got a room not facing the street. However, rhere was a party or kneipe somewhere causung lot of noise near by wchich prevented us to keep the window open to get oxugen. The ventilation was clearly insufficient to feed frech air to 2 persons in the room. Hence at about 4 in the night the party was over and so was the oxygen consumed. It was then possible to open the window. Good sleep is the first thing to require in the hotel. The main purpose of this hotel was poorly implemented. And the hotel owner cheats the costomers by nit spotting the problen in the advertisement.

The brauhause can also be a problem when a lot of people get out for a smoke. There is construction site right next to the hotel, but that cannot be hotel’s problem. Glass door in the shower would not stop in place and would always swing to the end.

Centrally located with a great brauhaus within the building. Very spacious rooms and solid breakfast. Very helpful staff.

The hotel is very centrally locted in Cologne, next to the Dom and very close to the main railway station. In the same building it was a restaurant/bierkeller "Früh am Dom". Excellent food and atmosphere !

The room is clean but when you open the side table lights you see dust floating in the air and there is a strange smell in the bathroom but tolerable

The room is comfy and in a good size, location is excellent and the staff are amazing, the breakfast is ok but hoping they have more choices.
