Proximity to the cathedral and its clock which chimed every quarter hour through the night. No air conditioning, just a fan. There is no bar in the hotel despite Booking.com's listing saying there was.

It was a very nice location near the cathedral, and they prepared for me the pillows I have requested. Kind people. Nice atmosphere. Walking from the train station to the hof gave me the opportunity to appreciate the city.

The room above ours was very loud with wood squeaking floors and stomping feet while walking around at 6AM both mornings. We wanted up for breakfast early, but this was too early. We could not open the window at night. There are two pubs below the hotel with revellers partying into the night and early morning. Pet and parking fees are a bit high (52 Euros for two nights).

Located next to the Dom and the church bells were great to hear. The motel is very clean and the cleaning staff were very attentive to helping if necessary. The breakfast staff were friendly and professional. Check-in was very easy and very very friendly. Only a short 10 minute walk to many sights and the Rhine River.

The ambience of the breakfast room was crowded and therefore noisy making it difficult to carry on conversation. The price for the simplicity of the hotel was a bit high so I don't know if we would book here again without a discount. It was not a quaint building or nicely decorated, only pretty basic rooms

This was an older yet clean and comfortable hotel. It was sparsely furnished with nice amenities. The location was just off the main walking street and convenient to get to the old town and restaurants. The room was quiet with a private door opening on to the balcony. There was always water available to drink in the lobby which we appreciated. The breakfast was of good quality and wide variety.

This was the second place I booked on Booking.com that turned out to be a Catholic church-run hotel. Whether guests are looking for a church-run hotel or actively wanting to avoid a church-run hotel, that information should be made easily and clearly observable and understood when searching and booking a hotel.

The lack of air conditioning. The fan is sometimes not enough to lower the temperature in the room, especially during summer hot days.

Nice room with a small balcony. The view of the old town is unforgettable. The beds are comfortable. The room is spacious and clean. The bathroom is tiny but OK - walk-in shower, toilet, and sink. There is no air conditioning, but you can use a fan to lower the temperature in the room. The breakfast is very tasty with good choices of a variety of food. Optionally, it is possible to park the car in the underground car park (for an additional fee). The hotel is ideally located just a stone's throw from the old town center and the cathedral.

There is no air conditioner, so if it is so hot, perhaps it should be tough.

The staff at the reception is so funny and kind to me. The breakfast is super, there are many kinds of fruits and yogurt and salmon, meat... The location is quite near the central of Mainz. Only 4-5 minutes walk to Dom Mainz.

Just one thing: One bed was very creaky, even though it was just our 9-year-old turning in it.

Very central location, yet easy to reach by car. Parking is available right below the hotel. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and breakfast was lovely. Spacious room.
