The location is well out of town in an area with few bars or restaurants although the local italian restaurant was great. We had to bus, taxi, drive to get anywhere

the staff are delightful in every area. The restaurants are great with a wide variety of food. The room was comfortable and quiet.

We had a lovely big room with a good seating area. Big windows with good views. Excellent choice for breakfast. The meals in the restaurant were excellent. Very big portions. Good service from helpful staff. Use the local bus to travel into Trier.

Pillow was far too soft for my liking! A little noise in corridor. Spa only opens at 12 on Sunday( not sure of other days).

Friendliness of staff, facilities, great restaurant. Fab atmosphere in this hotel. Looking forward to testing in Summer as there are plenty of nice outdoor dining and relaxations areas.

Everything is in top condition, clean and renovated, spa area is great, we enjoyed it a lot. The staff is exceptionally helpful and attentive, as my husband had problem with the bed, they offered a solution at once, we highly appreciate it!

Very poor WIFI internet in our room. The extra bed (sofa bed) for our daughter was hard and not suitable for adults. The area is too far from city centre to be walking there.

Nice large room with a good bed. Very good dinner in the hotel courtyard. Private free parking at the hotel. Nice pool and spa area.

Breakfast was fabulous and dinner was very nice. All staff was very accommodating and helpful. Tip, bring or rent bike cycles to ride along Mosel River into Trier.

The breakfast was very good, quite traditional and good quality. The swimming pool and sauna were excellent.

Would be nice to have A/C for the rooms but we were able to open the windows to get some air moving. Could be an issue later in the summer but we would still stay here due to the exceptional nature of the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was exceptional and had everything we could ask for. The tables were beautifully laid out and the staff was very helpful. The food was delicious!

Noisy in the back rooms, people outside drinking until midnight so not good if you’ve got a long day ahead like we had and the extractor fan in the toilet is very noisy and keeps going for about 30 minutes just totally annoying.

Wi-Fi is not the strongest. We used the restaurant twice - once to get coffee in the evening (there is no kettle in the room, which for as was a minus) and second time for dinner. Each time took forever to get it.

Stuff was super friendly and very helpful. Everything was extremely clean (and we do have high standards on that topic). Rooms have very cozy vibe. Sauna & swimming pool were actually better than expected.

The spa could do with clothing guidelines. It wasn't clear if the sauna was to be used with or without bathing suit, so it was an uncomfortable mix.

The hotel itself is beautiful. It has a classic style but still feels very modern. The standard rooms could use an update and do not match the quality of the interior in the rest of the hotel

The food in the hotel is amazing! Very hearty and lavish breakfast. Excellent German food in the restaurant. Great Schnitzel, duck and fillet. The restaurant is super cosy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We loved being there and felt very well looked after.
