I;m not sure if there was a plastic cover under the sheet, but we woke up sweating. It was a bit difficult to find since the directions led us to a closed off street and we had to search around a bit. It would have been good to have a head's up about that!

A staff member came outside with me to the car to help with the bags and explain where to park the car. The hotel is very classy and well located to walk to the older part of Munich. There are plenty of restaurants in the area. Our room was large with room for a sofa and coffee table, a good sized bathroom with toiletries and a nice tub/shower. There was plenty of room for our bags and belongings. We did not take advantage of the breakfast, but we were able to get coffee. There was a grocery store on the street which was convenient. The subway was on the corner.

Nothing to dislike. The construction in front of the hotel can't be helped and didn't cause any bother.

Excellent breakfast selection in a lovely dining area. Asked for a quiet room (garden view/ interior facing) and it met our needs. Beds are large and comfortable. Bath facility was luxurious, especially enjoyed the l'Occitane products that were supplied - nice touch! Location to train station is great for train travel and it's only a 15-minute walk to the middle of Munich old town. Made good use of the underground walkways to/from train and the old town from the hotel.

Excellent location, being very close to the Hauptbahnhof. Short walk to local attractions, shopping and restaurants. The room was comfortable and very clean. Appreciated the L’Occitane amenities. Hotel has a lovely Bavarian charm. Friendly helpful staff. Every item in mini bar was 2 euro. Would stay here again when in Munich.

Great location close to the train station, subways, and the starting location for many tour companies. However, the area is involved in a great deal of construction. Although there is no noise at this time, that may change. Property was clean and the breakfast was good with great service.

Unfortunately the pedestrian street outside the main entrance was a building site when we stayed, but of cause nothing to do with the hotel.

Very nice hotel two steps from the Hauptbahnhof and a short walk to the City Centre. We had a quiet room on the top floor and everything in the room was fine. Very good breakfast.

We would have appreciated a fitness center on site to exercise. Having an option to do laundry would also be a plus. There were not a lot of power outlets in the room, which made it slightly inconvenient to charge our devices.

The location was great. I could easily access the Marienplatz and other attractions just by walking. The staff were extremely friendly and warm. It was our first time in Germany, and we highly recommend this place!

Very tasty breakfast, cozy clean and nice rooms. Close to the centre. You can enjoy your evening in their vinotheque.

However, many functions just don't work or are very worn. When we checked on Thursday, neither of the 2 elevators were functional. A few hours later, one was running, but bumped and shuddered on every use. On Monday, when we checked out, the ladders and tools of the elevator repairers were still scattered on the 5th floor lobby. We had not seen any actual repairers at work since Friday The most annoying thing was the smell in our room. It smelled like an entire bottle of purfume had been poured out. I could TASTE it. Even after leaving the windows open all day and leaving a note, in German , for the housekeeper, begging that no scented products be used, it was still overwhelming. When I smell ' air fresheners' being used, I always wonder what is being disguised. This would cover decomp. The scale near the bathroom was wildly inaccurate. The stopper in the bidet did not hold water. The shower tap handle fell apart in my hand but my husband was able to reassemble it. We did not try the 25 euro breakfast. At a coffee shop we got breakfast for 2 for 11 euros.

This older building has obviously been nicely redecorated. The paint and finishes are pretty. The bed is comfortable and the bedding and towels crisp and white. Our room was large and airy, with openable windows. Extremely convenient location, one block from the central rail station, which was why I chose it.
