Australia6 reviews1 helpful voteGoodThe room was very basic, and lacked the visual appeal of a hotel room. There was a raised set of tiles between the bedroom area and the bathroom. It was a trip hazard at night and could actually be very dangerous for someone. I busted my big toe on it cracking the nail. Although it was fairly cheap it was not a nice place to stay. The check in staff member was very brisk and not very friendly. The check out man didn't even acknowledge me when I handed in room key. The pictures in the add are obviously from better rooms, the single room was rather ugly with the green paint, and I think the add was misleading. It was on the cheaper side but it was still not value for money.
The breakfast staff were helpful and the breakfast was excellent.

It was close to my office, so the taxi fare was cheaper. There were no facilities to make tea or coffee in the room, and it took around 10 minutes of running the hot tap to get lukewarm water. There's no Bar or lounge and I didn't try the restaurant but its not open Sundays so I had to walk about 2 miles to the nearest town to find somewhere to eat.
The hotel is a budget hotel, and this shows when you arrive and is shown also in the price. If you want a cheap place to stay for a couple of days it will do. The staff are friendly.

I believe that it would have been perfect for someone with a car. I had to walk every day (nearly 1.5km) to the nearest town (Rodelheim) to catch the train.
The speed of the internet was very good. There is some traffic noise coming from the nearby busy roads. However, the noises disappear once you close the windows. The place itself is clean, tidy and well-maintained.
