The property is on the tram line so when the tram comes past it can be a bit noisy but not too much to bear. There was no microwave which would have been useful.

The property is in a great location in the Aldstadt with easy access to the main train station by tram or walking (10min). the bed was very comfortable.

I would rate this flat as perfect but for 2 niggles. The wifi was very unreliable and dropped out regularly. You needed to sit at the table and hover around the middle to get a usable signal. The shower room is super but the illuminated mirror has a broken corner which was well disguised behind an ornament but still dangerous. The mirror light also flickers. The shower itself is great but there is a leak on the door seal which caused a soggy bath mat every morning.

The location is perfect, on a lovely square within walking distance of the station and all the main sights. The flat was spacious, very modern and fresh, well equipped for a short stay. Also remarkably quiet overnight despite being located close to a busy road.

A lovely apartment, in a grand old building. Cl ean and well-appointed. A view of a private garden that looked magical in the snow that fell the first day. The location was perfect with easy access to all Mainz has to offer.

Really centrally located in the old town of Mainz. This cosy little apartment was bright and airy with lovely heating which we had to use as the weather turned quite cold. We are bike packers and the host allowed us to keep our bicycles secure inside the apartment with us. The apartment was located off the town square inside a courtyard so felt very private and quiet. We cooked our own meal using the well equiped kitchen.

Key and access arrangements poor, including somewhat confusing instructions.

Excellent central location in one of our favourite European cities. Wine bar immediately opposite with good basic food but an excellent range of local wines by the glass or bottle. Short walk to most of Mainz's many attractions - Rhine port and HBF (main station) a 15 Euro taxi ride with bulky luggage. Mainz is a good alternative to big city Frankfurt, especially if you are travelling north to eg Cologne or the Netherlands because Mainz to Frankfurt trains travel through the Frankfurt airport.

Exceptional location. Great communication with host. Spotlessly clean. Very good facilities with some of the smallest requirements catered for. Its proximity to the old town makes it Ideal for dipping into the Altstadt, returning for a break and heading out again

The floors were quite dusty/dirty. The bottoms of our feet were always black-colored. I tried to sweep but it didn’t really help. The lighting in the kitchen was poor, even with the lamp.

Nothing major but could hear trams going past. Historic building so smallish windows in the apartment we were in - again not really a major problem for us.

Great location in old town. Good facilities. In a characterful building/complex. We were whatsapped with photos and detailed instructions on how to get the key and get in.
