We loved this excellent hotel! It has a dream-like location with mountain views and is close to very nice hiking trails. The room was beautifully decorated and sparkling clean. The breakfast and coffee were good. The staff was very kind and friendly.

The rooms very pretty and provided with all the facilities. The welcome was done with a tasty snack and the breakfast was with too many verities. We loved everything about the hotel. The view is fantastic and the aesthetic of the rooms gives you the feeling of a luxury alpine stay. Highly recommended.

The lady at the reception is super sweet, very very friendly, kind and joyful. And then is the cook of the Gasthof, very friendly man and the schnitzel sandwich he gave us as welcome was perfect because right after that we hit the mountains just before sunset. The breakfast is amazingly good (please don't miss their self-made marmelade, cake and yoghurt), and we also had the opportunity to meet another member of the staff who also was super friendly and kind. The place has a beautiful decoration and the room is spatious, clean, the place is very quiet, and the bed comfortable.

Super hotel, very clean and comfortable. Friendly service, the Chef is always there welcoming with something sweet or salty. Staying there is like staying at your friends. I would like to come back to that wonderful place again.

Hotel looks amazing inside and outside. Our room looked nice, and bathroom war very clean and modern, what is very important for me. Staff are very friendly and welcomed us with some snacks after a long day. Breakfast is also very good. 10 out of 10 from me!

We are very satisfied with our stay. Everything is just perfectly suited for our taste. We get a spacious room in the new building and so quiet and clean. And the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. Location is great too. Easily accessible to Zugspitze, Partnachklamm and 1 hour drive to Innsbruck.

Quiet location, but close to all the activities. Easy drive to Garmisch, Neuschwanstein, and Oberammergau. Very friendly staff! On our first night, we were welcomed with complimentary slices of homemade cake delivered to our room. Large breakfast buffet with lots of choices of meats, cheese, veg, fruit, pastries, pretzels, and eggs.

We booked last minute and now wish we had more time to stay for more than 1 night. We were greeted with snacks (the Bavarian cream cake was outstanding) when we showed up. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Views were amazing. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The lounge area was nice and comfortable. The shower was excellent as well. We really enjoyed the balcony that came with our room and the quietness of the area. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

Would be great if the hotel had dinner too. They gave us a nice Bavarian sandwich when we arrived but they don’t do dinner. (There are German and Italian restaurants in walking distance)

Beautiful area of Garmisch. Visited Garmisch hundred times, never visited Farchant. Quiet neighborhood. Cows walked along road in front of the hotel every morning at 0700 with their bells jingling away; we loved it!
