The hotel felt quite dated and could do with a facelift for a more pleasant stay. The lifts at the property were rather slow and we had to wait quite some time before taking it. The lock on the inside of our door was also not working properly which made us feel a little unsafe as anyone with a card would be able to open it; I tried bringing it up to the staff but they insisted that it was working as it should.

For one, the location of the hotel was very good. It was right next to the main station (Hbf) and was quite central. The hotel also provided basic amenities such a kettle, bottled water and had little snacks placed on the bed after cleaning. The rooms were also quite spacious as well.

The room was very old and needed some serious updating. The carpet was worn and stained, so even though the room seemed to be clean, it didn't really feel clean.

The hotel is very centrally located, an easy walk from the train and the main centre of the city. And despite this central location it's quiet at night. Staff are efficient and helpful. The bed is quite comfy. For a short stay this is a decent hotel in a handy location.

Flush mechanism was hit and miss.

lavish breakfast, almost unlimited choice. A 10 score when Germans will learn not to overcook scrambled eggs... will take 2 generations ;-) maybe three... jokes apart, top meal.

the reception was not really helpful. i asked to use the microwave to heat up my food and they just said WE DONT HAVE. what kind of hotel doesnt have a microwave or some sort of appliance to heat up food.

Since it is not my first stay at Wyndham Cologne, I know what to expect. Location is excellent, breakfast as well. Bathroom quite cramped, but it is fine. I have to mention that service at the reception is always with a smile and to the highest level. One person in particular namely Ms. Leonie is such a nice person . Thank you for the pleasant stay at Wyndham.

It was very noisy. It is right opposite the train station and you could hear the train announcer from 6am every morning

The rooms were very small, the bathroom resembled an airplane toilet. The water pressure of the shower was very bad and the carpet was dirty

The reception is open 24x7, we were not bothered by the staff which was okay. The beds were comfortable, basic toiletries were provided and the check out was easy

My room looked tired; sink had seen better days and the carpet showed signs of previous stains. Fusty smell in room that never quite went, even with window open prior arrival.
