The staff is a bit rude and not willing to speak English to me.

Breakfast area is small but with good quality. Location is good if you want to leave in the early morning by train or bus. The room is prepared properly for the kid.

There was no working plug next to the bed to charge my phone, and my water kettle wasn't working and I asked for it to be changed or fixed after the 1st night there, and nothing was done at all to change or replace it

Hotel needs an urgent room and bathroom renovation. It's unacceptable for a Hotel in 2023 to have one free power socket for charging, mobiles and tablets. Especially if you are family you need to disconnect the side table light to have at least one more socket free. Timing and quality of housekeeping services may varies from day to day, which is unacceptable for this price per overnight. Never understand also the reason that food and beverage departments are open only on specific days during afternoon and night. I would recommend these details to be clearly visible before you go for booking it.

Location is good, opposite main train station. Rich and tasty breakfast buffet and nice coffee quality. Very gentle and smiling personnel as well. I would recommend this Hotel for a short stay below 3 days and only for single use or as a couple.

Modern, comfortable hotel next to the train station and Colombi Park. Plenty of underground parking at hourly or daily rate of 19 euros. Extensive breakfast buffet at 22 euros.

Sofa bed was not good. It was broken, so I fixed it when I sleeping. This hotel is old but relatively clean. The hotel has two elevators, so I had to wait almost more than 20 minutes at the check out rush time.

There are 2 elevators and one of them is always idle. Also the room key cards always stop working, had to go up and down to replace them every time.

The breakfast was quite fine with variety of choices. The location was also great. The room was big enough for a family with 2 kids. Parking is available with a discount for customers.

Garage was not for free, unlike it was said on booking.com. Staff reacted unprofessional after explaining her the missunderstanding. Booked a family room on booking.com, however there is no such thing as a family room. Looks to me like fraud, booking.com is doing. Staff however was very helpful!

Nothing in particular. The breakfast was extremely expensive in our opinion (21 euros per person) so we did not have it. Compared to the price of the room, which was excellent, this seemed out of range.

This is a very old fashioned hotel (the lights in the room do not require the key card and there is space for a phone... but very comfortable and certainly up to the standard of a 4 starts, which is fantastic for the price. It's also perfect to visit Freiburg for a short stay as it is in the city centre, very close to the station.

The location was closer to the university district so we were up in the night listening to people chanting outside in the streets. I'm assuming they were celebrating a win or just being young students but it was really unfortunate when you have to get up early with young kids. There also wasn't any AC in the room and it was very warm up on the 5th floor.

We liked the newer facilities, the room was clean and modern and the staff were lovely.

Breakfast was great, lovely and nice staff. Because of the hot wheather it was very pleasant to have a swimming pool in the hotel for the kids.

The pool in the basement was tiny and no good ventilation down there. There is an extra (pricey) charge for breakfast. For the daily price of the room of more than 200 Euros per day, breakfast should have been included.

Great view to church, bridge and train station from the room. Wifi worked ok. We loved the proximity to the train station and old town. Friendly receptionists.

No air conditioning, it’s impossible to breath and sleep when the windows are closed. And impossible to open the windows because of the noise.
