How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Extremely polite and friendly staff. Good breakfast. The place was great value for money for staying. HOWEVER, I would not dine at their restaurant. I ordered the Rump steak - medium rare. It came as requested - medium rare. But the steak was BROILED! The main chef was off that day (I know because I was talking to him at the beer garden). Absolutely awful steak. Had to leave most of it. Met the owner on checkout. Shared my experience. The only comment I got was 'did I speak to any of the staff about the poor experience'? Would recommend for staying. Great value for money if you're looking for a clean room for the night. But it ends there.
Good breakfast. Great value for money.

Animalskin on floor. Do not like the idea of using dead bodyparts.to walk on. We had room on topfloor and many stairs.
Big room, easy to park, dog welcome even in breakfastroom, generous breakfast-buffe and even as vegans we had enough

We were really impressed with this place. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast varied and plentiful. We had an evening meal in the restaurant downstairs that was wonderful. We hope to be back soon!

The apartment was in the attic, and with heavy rain and heavy wind, the level of noise in the room made it difficult to sleep.
Breakfast (included) was delicious and with a broad choice of food.

Noise and loud music on the arrival night, was pathetic, not been able to sleep for 1 night. Although the reception informed us beforehand during check in but did not expect that to run till 3/4 am and so loud. Also could have given us different room than the room we were given as it was direct one floor up where the DJ was playing music. It was not respectful to the guest.
Delicious breakfast, various options to choose, restaurant food was very authentic and service was fantastic. All the staffs in the hotel/ restaurant was super friendly and provided great service. Very close to bus station.

The person at the reception at our arrival seemed to be not very professional, but he did his best.

The lady who checked us in messed up with keys and we entered a room occupied by someone else. She fixed it quickly so not really a problem.
Basic hotel, but clean and offering all we needed for a one night stay. Good quality products for breakfast although we missed vegetables. Overal, it was a pleasant stay.

Was all good.
The beds were very comfortable. Very nice breakfast, many options to choose from. Free parking and dog was also welcome. Easy communication with the owner! Location very nicely close to the motorway (but not noisy etc.), in order to continue our travels without extra driving.

The shower cabin's door was not functioning properly and the bathroom could need renovation since the rest of the room is very modern modern and cozy. :))
Clean, comfortable, cozy. The best thing was the breakfast! We had an amazing start of the day with wonderful breakfast! 😊 The staff was very helpful and smiling!

The actual location of the apartment was wrong. So we had to drive around a while to finde it.

My room window is on road side, the whole night I heard the traffic on the road. The reason maybe, I have opened the window because its hot weather when we traveled.
I have traveled with my family. This stay was a stop over for our trip, wouldn't able to stay much longer and enjoy the breakfast. It's nice place for family, in nice location on the way to Travemünde ferry. I have checked-in at 11:30 in midnight. Parking is available!

There was a very strong unpleasant smell throughout the hotel and particularly in the rooms. It could be due to the old moquette. We immediately opened the windows. Moquette was giving a feeling of dirty floor, although it was not dusty.
Considering that the hotel is a 2 stars, I believe that the breakfast was quite good. We had chosen this hotel because we had a very late checkin and they had somebody waiting for us. We were driving south, and while the hotel is not exactly close to the high way, it could be reached within ~10minutes as there was no traffic during the night.
