This is a beautiful property, much bigger than it looks from the outside. We had a comfortable room, well decorated with everything we needed. Its about 15/20 mins walk to the heart of town from the property. The breakfast was very good too, overall an excellent place to stay.

This was my fault, but when you charge your room fee with a credit card make sure to see that the little arrow on their credit card reader is on euros and not on your home currency, I missed this and it charged $10 USD more

Good location to rothenburg, if you don't mind a short walk , about 10 minutes, to get the city square. The family room we got had 2 bedrooms, a private bath, a sitting area and access to a common patio area. The room as came with a mini refrigerator. Parking here can be limited and had to park on the street. Our host actually moved her car so that we park at her spot on the street. There is a good bakery, Brohaus, just down the street for breakfast and lunch foods, as well as grocery store across the street from the bakery. Very convenient location for everything we needed for our visit to rothenburg.

Unpleasant smell from the drain in the bathroom, we had to keep the ventilation on the whole time to keep it manageable.

The stairs up to the rooms are very loud and creaky, so going up at night can be annoying for other residents im sure, although we ourselves weren't on the receiving end of any noise.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, although their English is limited (but of course you can't fault them for that - just be prepared to practice your German). The room is nice, and there is a lovely library/reading room downstairs that you can buy beers and wine from on an honesty system 24/7. The breakfast was also nice, although the selection was limited. The location is very close to the historic centre of Rothenburg.

There is a gas station just across the road and all its lights are on all night long. Unfortunately, you have to sleep under strong light because the curtain of the room is very thin. It would be really good if they put a thick curtain.

A clean and comfortable hotel within walking distance of the old city. Since parking was insufficient, they allowed us to use their private parking space. The staff is very helpful.

Nice cozy guesthouse with cheerful host. We stayed there for 3 nights. The room was nice, clean and cozy. The breakfast was also nice and simple. The walk to old town was manageable except when it’s raining

Nothing really, it met all our expectations and every stay there has been good.

We have stayed here many times over the last 25 years. The owners are very friendly and helpful and have onsite parking. Breakfasts are excellent and have a nice variety of food. It’s in a quiet location and it’s a short walk to the main entrance to the old town. It’s much easier and less expensive to stay here than try to find a hotel that has parking in or near the old town.

Gästehaus Eberlein is very clean and comfortable. It's near to supermarket and old town Rothenburg. It's really recommended.

The only thing I can think of is the curtains didn't fully cover one of the windows.

Free parking. Close to the walls but also close to the shops like Lidl. Really friendly staff.

No serious complaints. If there's anything, I would have preferred a slightly more spacious bathroom. But I could live with it for a short stay. The shower in room 16 wasn't tight enough, making it a bit uncomfortable while bathing.

The place is very nicely maintained, clean and beautiful. It gave a very good first impression as soon as we entered. The location is also convenient, especially if you're traveling by car. There was plenty of free parking available beside the street (I visited on the first week of March), and it's just a few minutes' drive to the city. The staff were also nice.

Excellent location. Parking available. Short walk to the oldie worldy town. 2.5km from the motorway. Right opposite a garage, just down the road from Supermarkets. Breakfast was great. Staff were lovely. Fantastic shower by the way.
