1. Terrible mattresses. There were two of us and there were two of them which made sleeping very uncomfortable. 2. In the middle of the night the TV turned on by itself waking both of us up and scaring us. When we told the receptionist about it, she seemed not to care about it at all.

1. Breakfast was amazing! The food itself was great (and I finally got to try proper bircher müsli!) but I just have to tell you that we ate out of the most beautiful tableware I've ever seen. 2. The location is great, too. It's very close to the bank and quiet. 3. Very simple but atmospheric room.

The bed wasn't comfortable as two mattresses were put together to make it a double bed. The glass wall in the shower is too narrow and the water runs from it.

The location is so wonderful that you can see the lake just from the window. The breakfast is fantastic and you're offered a number of savoury and salty dishes. The room was spotless. The great experience is to use Spa and the pool.

Absolutely marvellous breakfast, cosy and spacious room, clean and bright bathroom, soft and comfortable bed, nice smelling toiletries, and overall atmosphere of a high quality vacation hotel. We had a very pleasant time in the hotel, and location is great to visit Prienavera and start several hiking routes from Komoot app.

Wifi in Level 3 was unstable sometimes.

I had a very happy experience living in this hotel. The local is excellent, around 200 meters to the lake. The services including the reception desk, the restaurant, and the room services are very friendly, helpful, and pleasant. the quality of services and facilities are good. Normally I have serious sleeping problems. My room was very quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable compared to that of in other 4-5 star hotels, I stayed in my life, so I had a very good sleep there. During my booking, there was only one room available and they worked very hard to satisfy all my requirements.

I know that a continental breakfast is standard in these hotels, but it would have been nice to have had at least warm eggs (scrambled / fried) as an option.

The hotel is in a good location in Chiemsee where one of our two rooms had a nice view of the lake. The staff were extremely helpful. They found us a parking spot in a pretty full car park, they squeezed us in for dinner even though they were fully booked and they responded promptly to our requests (for tea and ironing board etc.). The food was exceptional at dinner too.

We had a lovely and spacious room with a large bed and a delightfully appointed small sitting area with a sofa, comfortable chair, and coffee table. We also had a large balcony offering views of a gorgeous rose garden and, through a few neighboring buildings, even a glimpse of the Chiemsee itself. The hotel pool was inviting and fun for our child. The restaurant was exceptional, truly a 4-star meal. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel appeared to be welcoming to pets (the owners have a dog).

The rooms are a bit outdated, could do with some refurbishing, however, they were very clean.

Pleasant and helpful staff, great location, excellent food, clean rooms. We arrived quite late, but the kitchen staff still accommodated us with a proper dinner.

Might have helped for non-German speakers to have understood better what the hot breakfast options were as we had to get help from another guest as staff mostly spoke German.

Ideal location to visit Herrenchiemsee Schloss and a we had a wonderful meal in the hotel restaurant.
