Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

South Korea- On the first night, we did hear some food steps, but it was overall very quiet. But the next night after midnight, someone on our floor stomped in, slammed the door like five or six times (no idea why), started playing loud music, and kept stomping around for like a couple of hours. I would not say it is the hotel's fault. It was definitely about that insensitive drunk guest, but it would have been nice if there were earplugs or if the hotel had ways to deal with such a loud drunk guest.
- The room was spotless, especially the bathroom. We thought the bathroom was renovated and we were the first ones to use it, but on the second night, we realized that it was just that their cleaning skills were on point. We could not find a single sign that we used the shower the night before. - The room was fully equipped and big enough for two people. - The location was nice with restaurants, bakeries, and bus stops around.

New ZealandBalcony for communal use. Sadly so much smoking. Only a couple of meters away from open windows required for ventilation and cooling. Smoke ends up in room. Really unpleasant.
Great value for money. Basic single accomodation exceeded expectations. Modernised. Very comfortable. Very clean. Quiet. Very good nights sleep. Recommend. Warm welcome by staff. Good to see fresh fruit and vegetables on breakfast menu.

My room fronted the road and there were a lot of early morning deliveries, there are shops opposite but after closing the windows it was not a problem. Very nice Italian restaurant almost next door with outside seating.
