Its location and the recently updated and individual styled room. The owner was most apologetic that there was some mess because upgrading was a work in progress. There was only evidence of work being done on the stairway and landing. This did not interfere with access anther to our bedroom or the breakfast room. There was an excellent choice of items at the breakfast buffet.

We were here in February, and the town itself was pretty much 'dead'. I am guessing that in warmer months this is a good base for hikers / bikers though.

I have stayed two consecutive weekends here, travelling to and from Solden for a skiiing trip, staying in two different rooms. The decoration was rather nice and different for both rooms. Both rooms were quite spacey, light, and with good furniture as well. The breakfast selection was not huge, but the quality of the offering was excellent and the breakfast room was quite nice with a view to the garden. It is clearly a family-run hotel, by a young couple with a love for the tiny details that make a huge difference. Currently the tapestry is being changed in the hallways (already done in both rooms I stayed), so looks will further improve. There is a decent restaurant just around the corner (50m) for dinner.

Clean, very quaint, the room size was great nice big bed and a comfy single for our son. Bathrooms looked new. Breakfast also lovely. Lots of renovations going on so I’m sure will be even nicer once finished.

We got locked outside the hotel because the receptionist/owner had gone out. Fortunately she came back not long after but we were with our toddler and worried we would have to wait a long time.

Very confortable and cosy rooms, nice breakfast and quite place with a beautiful garden! There is also a nice typical restaurant right next to the hotel and very welcoming with kids (chairs, toys,...).

Each room has a nice concept, we were in the Alp room. Very well done. The breakfast was very nice and a cup of coffee in the garden was excellent. If I would need to be in the neighborhood again (this time it was because of a visit to the Falkenstein Höhle), I would definitely book there again. Tip: this was nothing that the owners could do, but if you are a shallow sleeper, close the door to the balcony. The churches in the neighborhood like to know that they exist by ringing the church bells :)

The breakfast area was rather small and got very busy and crowded at one point. No garage available for motorcycles.

The room was very light / fresh and seemed newly done, it was a good size with a comfortable bed, and a decent shower with plenty of hot water. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and there was a good selection. There was amble parking.

We had such a great stay! The room was big and nicely furnished. The beds were comfy. Small sweets were left for us in the room. The location was very quiet. Breakfast was delicious with sufficient choices and quantities.

What a lovely hotel and owners the hotel was immaculate . I booked it last minute and they made it easy for me . Had a great breakfast in the morning too. Would highly recommend.

The rooms were very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. The hotel is located close to the highway but not too close. Nice enjoyable curly road will bring you to the hotel. We stayed here for one night and moved on with the road-trip the next day.

Was not expected upon arrival. Keys were left at reception but mine was not there. I phoned the owner and she said that they were full. I tried to contact booking.com with no response. Tried to find another hotel when the owner arrived, found my booking and finally gave me a room. Not Impressed.

The wifi only worked at the door. Grab a chair and surf at the room entrance or book your next room from the toilet. The smoked-in room, it was awful, my stay was not very good at all. Seriously guests - do not smoke in the room and please leave your stinky clothes in the car (and the perfume too). You ruin it for the next guest. Management needs to air out and de-stink room #31 because the previous guest's smoke and bad aftershave reek. Hallway/stairs carpet - needs some help. Other (separate): Non EC card tourists - the restaurant next door doesn't take Visa. Bring cash (ATM down the street) or starve, this place is secluded.

The blackout curtains, the quiet, spacious room and comfortable bed were nice. Onsite parking. Restaurant next door was good.
