How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The property is in a wonderful location, very close to the Uhlandplatz train station, thermal baths and shops and restaurants. The room was warm, the staff are lovely and the facilities are great.

The breakfast was so good. The lady there is so sweet and helped with the eggs preference. The location is good, has no view, but so good and easy to find.

I did not like the fact that there was no body wash and face wash in the washrooms. We did not bring our own toiletries expecting it will be there .
The location was great and the room was comfortable.

A bit home - spun but in a nice way.
Balcony to sit on - great. Central to the village. Offroad patking (4 euros). Small kitchen with all facilites - great. Lovely village and great cable car/ tree top walk with excellent play area for little people.

Very big apartment, great value for money. Equipment in the kitchen was good, could have done with a couple of extra pieces, like a cleaning cloth. Otherwise the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Great secure indoor storage for bikes and chargers if you have an electric bike. We were on the top floor so if you aren't mobile this isn't for you as they were steep spiral stairs, but provided us with the space we needed.

The walls were a bit thin and I could hear the neighbour making noises in the bathroom next door early in the morning, waking me up.
Very good breakfast buffet, great location, comfortable bed, very clean.

Location a bit challenging to find but owners were helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Beds comfortable. Location was good for walking through town easily.

It was all fab but just be mindful if you are not so mobile that there is no lift so if you are on the top floor like there are several flights of steep stairs to navigate.
A brilliant stay, apartment on top floor had great balcony with superb views of the surrounding hills and forest, lovely light, airy and clean with all facilities we needed for our stay including a comfy bed (much needed after a lot of walking!). Staff were very friendly, helpful and seemed very happy in their work :). Great location right in the centre of Bad Wildbad right near to the Bergbahn, train and all attractions. Had a wonderful stay and would recommend this accommodation.

Parking was difficult to find & access. It was a bit hectic to find and enter thru the pedestrian only street. But great that there was parking at all.
Location was great, very walkable to the city, spa and the cable car up to the mountain. Beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. It was nice that they had an extra little communal fridge in the hallway since we had just a couple things that needed to be refrigerated. Breakfast was good too!

the beds were comfortable but the pillows were not to our liking so one may want to bring their own if you have a preference. the parking was a little difficult to find and maneuver, but very close to the apartments.
