1) Unknowingly, we arrived at possibly the worst time of the year: with the annually held so-called "Gothardusfest," i.e., folk festival going on for four days. The central section of the downtown area was blocked off, and thousands of cars parked outside the cordoned-off district made even short stops impossible. It would have been beneficial if the hotel had informed us about the traffic restrictions during the commotion and the only available approach to the building. 2) The mirror in the otherwise large, modern, and comfortable bathroom was positioned at a height suitable only to basketball players. Although I am of average size, shaving was a hassle since I could see only the top of my head. The chairs in the room were probably to compensate for all that: one could sit only very low by the table.

Excellent location (walking distance to everything in the downtown or central area of the city), modern facilities, good breakfast, very good Wi-Fi, comfortable rooms and beds, nice staff, and plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. Staff and management deserve a big "thank you" for their obvious effort and work to make the place stand out!

Breakfast space in main building was a bit dark and not much left when we arrived for breakfast at 9:15hrs

Very nice big room (studio) with terrace. Super clean and very comfortable, nicely decorated. Online checking worked very well. Great that we could park our bikes safely in the garage.

Nothing to dislike.

The hotel is in a quiet street just five minutes walk away from the main square. We upgraded our room for just 20€ to one on the 4th. floor with a balcony and a great view. Claudia had arranged for it to be ready for our early arrival about 11.30. The room was modern and spotlessly clean, with a roomy bathroom. Breakfast was generous and beautifully presented. Easy access after hours. Friendly staff. Thoroughly recommended.

Everything was perfect - a tiny grudge was the lack of an electric kettle in the room but there was bottled water 8

The receptionist waited for us especially as we were late and took the time to explain everything despite that. She made excellent recommendations for a restaurant. There were fresh garden apples to take with us. Big, comfortable bed, big shower room. All impeccably clean. Great views from our own balcony over old town. Free water bottles in the room, good soap etc.

A lovely place to stay a few minutes from the centre. A good traditional buffet breakfast and free secure parking. The staff were friendly and nice. Our room was a suite on the top floor which was large, comfortable and had nice views. Everything felt like it had been recently refurbished, there's a lift to the top floor and a communal fridge with beers and wine.
