We actually didn't stay at this hotel as they were overbooked and they arranged a different nearby hotel for us. This was communicated via email and phone upfront on the day of arrival. They made sure that the alternative hotel charged the same price.

Staff do not speak English at all. We had several confusing moments, but overall it didn’t influenced our stay.

Great location if you are looking for something outside of big city. There are vineyards 2 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast is average- several types of bread, cheese, some meat, yogurt and fruits. Not a lot of options, but fresh and tasty.

It was our second visit and we confirm what we previously experienced: it’s a very comfortable hotel in a beautiful location, staff is very friendly and helpful, food is great, there’s free parking space available. We will definitely visit again

Air conditioning would be a bonus. Some of the carpets in the hallway and room were a bit dated, but overall it was definitely a very pleasant stay.

Staff was very warm, welcoming and attentive. We dined at the restaurant and food was excellent. Breakfast was also very good. We also liked the free car parking, scenic location and overall comfort.

The hotel parking was a little bit expensive and it seemed like the staff wasn’t overly keen on explaining how to park otherwise. We managed to find a solution but not being from the area the parking isn’t easy to understand as it is for locals. It would maybe be good if they took more time to explain. Also food was an issue as their isn’t much in the area if you don’t want to venture into town or take the car out. There are sone good grocery stores just two minutes away on foot though for snacks and drinks!

Very nice hotel with very good facilities. Very good breakfast with great offerings. The staff were cordial and spoke English which was nice. There was a bar and restaurant that seemed inviting. The bar was often lively. The tram was a five minute walk away and 15 minutes into town so it was convenient. My daughter and I enjoyed staying here and I would definitely book again.

Room has no airco, which in our current Summers leads to a room that is too hot to sleep well. Restaurant was closed.

Location away from the busy streets below. Chose this hotel as it was advertised as hotel restaurant. The restaurant was non existent which resulted in going back out and had we known this we would not have booked this hotel. On arrival everything locked and no notice to help us. A local person informed us that the owners lived next door! Eventually got into our room. The room was really nice with a lovely balcony.

Sofa bed could have had a thicker mattress (a bit too hard for our taste)

Use it as basecamp while moving house. EXTRA friendly staff. Clean. Nice view on Loerrach. Parking reserved for the hotel on the other side of the street (not secure but this is in a very calm area - I left my truck full of boxes and furnitures there). Good breakfast. Restaurant is really good (but not cheap).

Lovely hotel on the hills of Lorrach. Great staff, spacious room, perfect shower and great food at the restaurant! Away from the busy city center but just 10 minute-drive from Basel.

We just needed a place to rest a night on our way from the Netherlands to Italy. This cosy hotel was a much better choice than staying at a large hotel. The family room is spacious, nicely furnished and comfortable. Amazing view from the roof window and from the restaurant. Both dinner and breakfast were fresh and abundant.
