We came late in the evening so it was dark, a little intimidating for my wife as we are not familiar with the area. But there was nothing to worry about. the place was not difficult to find.

Check in at a different location (2 min walk) but it was very easy. The hotel was very nice, clean and quiet. We booked two rooms, one for my wife and I, and the second for my two daughters. Both rooms were very roomy, we had plenty of space for our luggages. For breakfast we ordered eggs, and coffee was served promptly. Selections for breakfast was very good. I wanted to have a beer after checking in so they had set up a fridge with beer and water at the hotel. This is on an honour system, we were able to enjoy the beverage and pay the next morning. Very convenient - we thank them for this!

The hotel is situated in a quiet small town, the room was nice and tidy. Great for a stopover. There is a water cooker in the room with herbal tea available, so you can make tea if you want, Breakfast was great, The charming town Rothenburg o/d Tauer is only ten minutes away with car.

The property is family run and clean and very comfortable. The restaurant just down the road has good meals for the family. The hosts were welcoming and helpful.

Perfect place for a "stop over" traveling. (even few days if you like tranquillity and nature). I do high reccomend to try their typical genuine german Cusine .

There is nothing what we didn't like. The location and the hotel fulfilled absolutely our expectations and we just can highly recommend to stay in this hotel.

We only stayed for 1 night to visit the town of Rothenburg of der Tauber (which wasn't long enough!). The room was spacious, had a balcony and was very quite. The breakfast was great with a very good variety (fresh bons, cheese, meats, cereal, eggs etc.). The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was just 10 minutes away from Rothenburg and a not expensive parking lot (P4), which was directly on the outer town wall and a 5 minutes walk from the market place (visited the Christmas market).

This is a lovely, family-owned hotel with comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast (with pastries, fruit, yogurt, and cooked-to-order eggs). The staff/owners are friendly, helpful and professional and provided information and suggestions for our visit to Rothenburg. They same family owns/operates a full-service restaurant across from the hotel. We had a delicious lunch there upon our arrival. We loved everything about this hotel.

Nothing to complain, an excellent stay, we will certainly come back.

Really pleasant property in the middle of a small Bavarian village. Straightforward check-in at their local restaurant, which is located less than 200m away from the hotel. Free parking, the building was recently renovated and very well kept, plus our room was perfectly clean. Very comfortable bed, more than enough space for a family of three. The room was also quiet, we never heard any noise during our stay. We ate at their restaurant, service was really good and I would certainly stop to eat there again. Excellent breakfast, ample choice of food and even freshly cooked eggs on order, other guests were also friendly. Vicinity to Rothenburg ob der Tauber is also an advantage. Highly recommended.

The guesthouse is located in a quiet area. The gps takes you to the restaurant, where you get the keys for the room. Then, you drive back 2 streets to the hotel. Our room was very nice. Modern and quiet, with a balcony.

Ideal distance from the beautiful medieval city of Rothenburg that is too crowded especially on weekends. Very quiet place. Small family hotel with very clean, reconstructed rooms, some hundred meters away from the restaurant where you have to check in and where you can have excellent dinner from local products. The rich breakfast is directly in the building with the rooms. Parking places almost right under your windows.

Not a big deal, but it was a little confusing that the rooms were separate from the restaurant - 2 mins walk. Could be better signposted / indicated.

Nice restaurant, mostly friendly staff, nice garden to sit in, quiet town and rooms.
