Family run guesthouse and bar. All very lovely. We had a dinner in the bar that night, very tasty homemade traditional food, reasonable prices, nice beer. Breakfast was good value too

The room was good and big. There was a heating in the room. The family who owns this pension was friendly. The dinner we took was a very good family meal with fresh products. The breakfast (in option) was good.

The only thing , but this is very personal , the pillow and the mattress were too soft , often used I suppose. But nevertheless I slept very well.

I took a delicious meal in the evening , Schnitzel with mushrooms , very tastefull. The people in the guesthouse are very friendly . I was charmed by their hospitality . Also the breakfast gave me everything I needed

It was not a room with a bathroom but rather a bathroom with a room - you walk in to the bathroom … and then you have doors to the room. The room was so outdated like I’ve never seen something so old… every piece of furniture was somehow broken, loose and dirty. it was freezing cold, no one thought about turning the heating on before we arrive event though it was middle of December. No one was replying to my messages on booking that I’ve sent a week in advance. No one was picking up the phone. Eventually after days of calling, someone answered but didn’t spoke a word of English.. I had to ask a German-speaking friend to make a call on my behalf to ask for late check-in. Unfortunately we were informed (with the help of the translating friend) that after we arrive we have to call a number that will be „somewhere there” to check in. We did, and the person on the phone - again spoke no English at all. We had to use google translate and somehow managed to let them know we’re waiting. The person who showed up with the keys - spoke no English at all and even after we said we don’t speak German kept talking in German to us, not even trying to use gestures or anything to describe what they mean. The check-in happened in the ‚restaurant’ in the building next door - thank god we didn’t book the breakfast- it was horribly dirty and smelled really bad, not to mention boiled eggs were already sitting on the table in the breakfast area (we were there before midnight).

The bathroom, towels and sheets looked clean. And it’s the only good thing about this place.

This guesthouse was a perfect overnight pitstop on our way north. It was simple, comfortable and calm. We appreciated the rich breakfast. We also had dinner at the guesthouse and it was delicious local food, we highly recommend it. We had to pay extra for our dog, but we enjoyed the nature and forest right next to the gueshouse where we could go for walks.

The room was barely acceptable. There were tons of dust under the bed including items of clothing probably from previous resident. There were spiders all over the room and also a very constant unpleasant smell coming from the toilet.

The staff was amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was surprisingly rich. There is a restaurant at the premises with great reviews. There is parking available, location is decent, quiet place but close to a bigger town with restaurants and bars.

Staff was not friendly when checking in. When they asked for the payment they wanted cash, eventhough the booking clearly states we can pay by card. They repeated 'no credit card' and only when we asked where to get cash they relented and allowed us to pay by card. When we were in our room we realised we did not have the wifi code (they had 2 or 3 notes in the room saying we were not allowed to smoke, but none with useful information). They started knocking on our doors early in the morning to tell us we had to check out at 11, as if we didnt know. Also, there were quite a few bugs and spiders in the room.

Cozy room in a small village nearby the highway, very handy when travelling through Germany.

Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Location was peaceful. Food was great. Room was clean. We arrived late and they couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely people.

- The room smelled strongly of urine. After turning on the heating the smell faded. The bathroom was clean so unsure where this awful smell came from. - The semi-transparent blinds only covered the middle of the window [we were facing the street on the ground floor]. We could see the full night sky from our bed, and received quite a shock when a passerby waved in at us. Lack of privacy was a serious issue. There was also no shield from the sunlight in the morning. - There is no sound insulation, a lovely family with small children were staying above us and sounded like a herd of elephants. In addition, one bedroom was right beside the heating engine, it was really loud. It was a very early start for everyone sadly with all of the noise. - The 'bar' which also served breakfast was across the road. Unpleasant, having to 'travel' especially in the cold and rainy weather. After seeing the bar, we decided against breakfast. - No kettle in room, given the above this was quite annoying to have no possibility of a warm drink. - The mattress was very lumpy and old. - No hairdryer in one of the rooms. - The room was located in a small village, there are no shops for basic provisions - its simply a place for a stopover. - Staff are unresponsive to messages and despite multiple attempts to call, we cannot reach them.

- Fast WiFi - Size of the bathroom, amazing shower - Very friendly Guy who helped us with our bags - Rooms heated up quickly and were cosy.
