We booked 2 bedroom apartment, but only received a single room with 4 beds. The staff apologized and offered 2 separate rooms, this is not the same when you have small kids. The room, which we got, was the only option. It was nice to receive free drinks on bar as apology, I gave generous tip to cover them. The apartment was the only reason why I booked this hotel on our transit to Italy and we did not get it. The food in the restaurant was festival of deep frying, fish, schnitzel, meat cheese. The absolute worst was the smell of urine in the room. I initially thought it was coming from bathroom but it was not.

It was good location near town center, the staff was very very and I mean it nice. Breakfast was nothing fancy but okay

Since washroom were not private so separate slippers and handwash and showergel should be kept in washroom. Moreover you should put electric kettle in room for people. Additional 3 euros need to be paid as it will be a tax from that town

The guest house is in front of a church which has an automatic bell at every 15 minutes. Hence it’s very difficult to sleep with the window open if your room is facing that way.

Parking is not easy to find and it is not free. There is no elevator. Church bells can be a little noisy in the midnight.

The church bells ring every 15 minutes all night, and Sunday morning they go crazy from 6 am! You need ear plugs or sleep very hard to sleep through the night.

The 8 out of 10 points result only from the point that the church, which is right in front of the Gasthaus, rings its bells every quarter and at the full our including the number of times of the date. That's a lot of loud rings for someone who is not used to church bells except for Sundays. That's the only cricicisable point though and not much the wonderful staff of the Gasthaus can do much about. And other guests may not even notice.

The staff was very family like, from the first response until check out. Communication was straight forward and helpful, including tips when best to visit the surrounding mountain tops. The food at the restaurant in Gasthaus zum Rassen was typically local and delicious. The location was as central as it gets, right in the middle of the main pedestrian street with an affordable parking cellar next to it.

breakfast was just the most basic stuff available in the grocery store! the room wasn't clean well. there was a dirty shower bath towel in the closet! There wasn't enough shampoo in the room. one of the bed mattresses was deformed and uncomfortable! also, there were 2 bedside lamps in the room and 1 defective!!!

The location was in the Altstadt and pretty good. the first floor and outside decoration was historic and unique.

Staff doesnt speak English. Beds are pretty comfortable but the sound when you make a turn is terrible and you wake up every time you move, result is pretty bad sleep.

Location definatelly is the best. Pretty good cold buffet for breakfast.

1) There was two bedroom room with a bathroom that has a transparent glass door. 2) The sink is leaking 3)There is a window in a small room with mansard that is located above the bed. A radiator in that room was not working for three days. My husband had a cold and for two days he was freezing and sleeping in a clothes. He slept under the window. We said about radiator to the staff, and they promised to fix it. Nothing has been fixed. For the third night we moved beds together a bit far away from the window (the room is quite small) and asked one more blanket. That was the only night when it was comfortable. 4) This is a Bayern region, so you have to pay city taxes as a guest. It costs 3€ per person per night. You pay and get a Guest card, which gives you discounts in some museums, shops and opportunity to take a bus for free (not for all buses) More information is here https://www.gapa-tourismus.de/guestcard We knew it and asked hotel workers about it on a second day, but cards was given us only on our third day (we had just 4 days) and 2 of 4 cards had mistakes on names. So half of our trip we payed for the bus. It was sad. Previously we’ve got it with our check in.

Location is very nice! For those who enjoy atmospheric places. Breakfast is delicious!
