Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomTea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice. (However, I see from looking at Booking.com now that this is not listed as provided and that perhaps I should have gone to find the drinks vending machine, which I see is listed!)
I had originally hoped to stay in Cologne but found I would need to look further out and so, close to a railway station was important. I found Hotel Garni Geisler fitted my needs very well. Unfortunately, I was delayed and wasn't able to make it to the hotel before it closed for the night! However, they managed this potential problem very well so I was very grateful for this. Breakfast had plenty of good choices. The breakfast area and views to the garden behind coupled with spring sunshine altogether made for a very pleasant start to the day. Friendly staff at reception in the morning continued the feeling of being well looked-after.

GermanyThe communication when I was making the check-in wasn't good because the staff didn't speak English. However, I have a bit of German understanding, so we managed to communicate. The staff was also trying to communicate using translator, so it was worth the effort!
Good room, had all I needed. A good bathroom and a small fridge were available.

LuxembourgCan be noisy here and there. The noise from the hallway can be an issue especially if you are close to the door which splits the floor. That door is very noisy regardless how slow you close it.
A basic hotel. Can use some modernisation works but at least it is clean and the personnel does its best. I would come here again.

Good clean hotel, as for a one-time overnight stay on the road, it's good. Breakfast was good.

Breakfast here was superb. A lot of options to choose from, and very healthy. It's my first time in Germany, and this definitely set the expectations bar pretty high for me now. The room was a great, although a bit smaller than I had anticipated. Bathroom was very clean. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

GermanyI traveled alone, the small room is good for 1-2 nights, but longer term I advise take take the bigger room. I appreciate for the dedicated EV charger, 22kW 2 stands, for fee but parking is free. Breakfast is buffet, coffee is good.

United KingdomTea and toast being openly available at breakfast would have made the breakfast perfect as us Brits love it. Although I have no doubt they would have provided for it if asked. An English speaking channel on the TV would have been a bonus.
The customer service could not have been better. The people were incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating. The rooms and communal areas were very clean and contained all you needed to have a pleasant stay..
