Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyNothing to declare :)
This was my second stay at this hotel. It is a very good choice for enjoying the Bavarian countryside while staying 20 minutes from downtown Munich. Perfect location and setting in a nice village, not far from two major highways, which make it ideal also for business meetings in the area (my case). Good German restaurant close by (3 minutes by walk). Very large, hassle-free parking. Away from the crowds and very quiet. I personally like the style of the structure, not bombastic nor hospital-like like most hotels today, but instead warm and authentic German (very nice wood paneling in the breakfast room!). Averagely sized, nice room with a balcony and a view of the countryside immediately next. Large bathroom. Very good and rich breakfast. Nice staff, warm and welcoming. Nice spa area. I had not the time to try the small gym.

IsraelWe came back to this hotel with our family because we loved it so much the first time. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful - they even made us breakfast at 6:30 am for our early flight. Plus, having a private sauna right in the hotel was fantastic. This place is simply excellent, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

IsraelI would have given this place a solid 10/10 if it wasn't for the lack of elevator in our wing. The hotel didn't mention it when we booked the room..we had 3 suitcases and a baby stroller that we had to carry to the second floor.
The hotel is quite rural and feels comfortable and relaxing. The facilities are great. Staff is extremely nice and helpful and the breakfast was great. The wellness area is very relaxing and clean with two saunas and a nice relaxation area.

Glasl's Landhotel is a fantastic place to stay. We had a wonderful time there. The hotel has its own private spa in the basement, which was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. If you're planning a trip to the area, you absolutely must book a room here. It's truly a hidden gem!

United KingdomWe liked the hotel a lot but due to the fact that my husband was unwell we spent more time in the room than we expected and there were some details which we felt would have made our experience better. - in summary this was a better TV, having more meal options and the bathroom hairdryers. It was very frustrating that this hotel does not have either Smart TVs or Sky TV. There were only 3 English channels which were all News related. I think a hotel like this should have Smart TVs due to the price of the rooms and to match the 4* rating. There was absolutely no entertainment for us which was a big downfall and we were quite bored. Being able to have logged into our Netflix account would have made a big difference since we had been unable to do any of the stuff we had originally planned. Another big downfall was that the hotel ONLY does breakfast. No lunch, dinner or room service options. This was an issue for me as even though my husband was ill, I was hungry during a lot of our stay here. I didn't want to order takeaways to the hotel or go and eat out on my own so I was left just eating bits I got from the supermarket. I would have liked to have been able to order some food for myself and even some soup for my husband to our room. They also don't provide kettle/tea/biscuits in the room but I was very glad there was a mini fridge to store the snacks I had brought. It is for this reason why I personally would not stay at the hotel again as I like to have the option to order some room service or at least get a sandwich or lite food. If they introduced dinner and/or room service options we would stay there again. A small detail only but the hairdryer in the bathroom was dated and I felt like an upgrade was needed. Most women don't like to pack hairdryers so you hope that the hotels have good ones, it is always a bit disappointing when they don't.
Our stay ended up being a little different as my partner was unwell throughout our stay (3 nights) so we spent more time in the room than expected. The hospitality we received was lovely. We arrived to late due to flight delays and the hotel very kindly picked us up from the station at short notice - thank you Thomas! The next day they provided me with large bottled waters, juice and a large bundle of wrapped ice for my partners fever all free of charge. Every time I came downstairs they asked me how he was feeling. They also ironed his shirts as a courtesy as we were there to attend a wedding and they allowed us a late check out on the Sunday also as a courtesy. These little extras really made a difference and their customer service was the best part of the hotel. They really do try to help and accommodate guests. The room we chose had a lovely balcony so I would recommend this when staying here. The size of the room was great and both the bathroom and room were very clean. Even though the hotel has a lovely authentic look I really liked that the bathrooms were clean and modern. I good shower and bath size. I liked the details in the bathroom as they had L'Occitans handwash, shampoo and body wash - the bathroom also had a bath instead of just a shower which was great. I was able to run my partner a bubble bath to help his fever. The breakfast was okay, lots of breads and cheeses and cold meats. I'm not really into continental breakfast but thankfully they did have some bacon and egg which I thought was the best part.

GermanyThe position next to Munich. The receptionist was very helpful: we booked the room 2 hours before check in and asked for baby bed, which we found in the room prepared. Breakfast was great. Beds were huge and comfortable. Atmosphere in the apartment was very nice: a lot of space especially when you travel with kids. Quality products in the toilet such as shampoo. Pity we were there only for a sleep over! We'll be back!
