I was only travelling through Berlin to continue my trip to the Baltics, while visiting a friend who lives in eastern Berlin, so for me the location was perfect, and it is next to the East Side Gallery, which is an interesting place to visit. Rooms are basic but ok for this price and for only one night. Not sure if I would stay much longer though. I was happy with the luggage storage service.

The out-of-hours entrance is located in a dark alley and the main entrance is behind construction work, but the hotel send me detailed instructions over Booking to find both.

Location was perfect - just 5 minutes walk from the nearest S-Bahn station. The room was the perfect size for a single person and had everything needed for my stay there - desk, TV, comfortable bed, wardrobe, good bathroom.

Staff wasn’t very friendly. Hard to find the entrance to the hotel. No sign and scaffolding all over the building. Had to go into another nearby hotel to find out where it was. And they told me they get asked that every day. So yeah , they really need to fix that. Also , I stayed 4 nights and nobody came to clean the room at all.

Not a negative for me however a note that it doesn’t have a lift so for anyone with a big suitcase or issues with stairs should request a first floor room

FYI: no elevator, old building at a very busy road (=noisy, also at the backside, but better there).

Unfortunately, the fittings, tables and doors had not been wiped and were still dirty. There was still food from other travelers in the fridge and black hair on the bed and floor. There was also scaffolding with workers in front of the window, which is why I had to keep the curtains closed most of the time.

I liked the friendly staff and the facilities in the room. Check-in went smoothly. I also like the location within the district.

The interior of the room was a bit messy. The curtains were torn and I didn't know how to open\close window as the window knob was broken.

the stuff were very friendly! They let us to leave our luggage before check-in and after check-out. The room was spacious, and there was a kitchenette. Super!

I basically had no contact with the staff as the reception works for few hours only and closed during the weekends. The room was large enough and comfy for a not so expensive day rate.

No reception after 8 P.M. But I was lucky, I arrived in time.

During my stay no room service . ( but I heard other room got room service on my first day) Didn’t clean the room, didn’t take the garbage, didn’t change the towels. The water came from the taps and shower was brown. Didn’t have a plate or glass in the room.

Room was clean and tidy. Bathroom also clean . Comfortable bed and pillows. Didn’t hear any noises. So I had a good time. Easy to access where I needed to go. There were many places to buy food around the area.

Lack of microwave, plates and shampoo.

The hotel was close to that place where we had to go. It was easy to get there, but we did not find the entrance because it has 2 ways you get into it. We tried that entrance where only you can get into with code after when the reception is closed. So the main entrance is on the main street, not in the small street, pay attention! The room was simple, but clean, the bathroom also. There were no microwave only heater, no plates, only dishes. They have kettle. Soap in the bathroom was fixed on the wall, I did not find shampoo or anything else. Anyway it worthy for staying and discover the city. In that area there are many cheap streetfood and restaurant. Good place even if they dont have elevator. It is close to the railway station also (5 mins walk) The man at the reception was very friendly and gave clean instructions. I recommend it.
