I think everything was great, there's nothing not to like.

We stayed in the Kaiser suite, and it's even better than described. It is updated very large and luxurious with many comforts of home. There is a small patio that we enjoyed a beverage on before going out to dinner. The breakfast buffet was included in our rate and is definitely worth selecting when booking. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Christine in reception. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

They need to not accept Amex for online booking. I booked with my Amex and then was unable to pay with it

Everything was great, nothing to complain about. However if you are driving into Regensburg the streets are very narrow and pedestrianised so parking can be difficult. But parking garages are available

Situated in the centre of Regensburg, the Goldenes Kreuz is a beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious and clean, breakfast was served in the cafe next door and there was lots of choice, including freshly cooked eggs. Staff were great too.

The rooms can be hard to find, with some not accessible from reception.

Historic building beautifully restored, comfortable bed and good facilities. My room faced the courtyard and was delightfully silent through the night.

What a beautiful, historic property in a great location! The host was expecting us and offered an amazing upgrade. The apartment was roomy, clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast buffet was superb with a little something for everyone plus a choice of eggs prepared to your taste. The staff were friendly and attentive. We highly recommend.

The hotel is located in the center of the city where only the limited cars are allowed to pass through. The way to the hotel was full of pedestrians and it was not easy to drive through. (But it was good that we could reach there by car.)

Staff was nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Many restaurants around the hotel, Close to the tourists' spots.

This hotel is an absolute gem. I love staying here because of the attention to detail, beautifully appointed rooms and a breakfast to die for. The staff are wonderful.

Nothing really. Parking in the courtyard at the back of the hotel is tight, but we were lucky enough to get a place. In any case, there's an underground garage nearby, so it's not a problem.

We loved the historical character of the building, which has been incorporated into the interior design of the hotel. The furnishings are beautiful - very stylish and elegant, with some lovely antique pieces.

Location couldn't be better at Christmas time with proximity to markets, one of which is directly outside the property. Breakfast in the cafe is excellent in quality and very flexible with times

Nobody in our family of 3 couldn't get a comfortable enough sleeping position with the provided pillows. Didn't ask for other pillows as it was just a one night stay, so maybe this problem could be solved by the friendly staff. Although the breakfast was plenty enough, it's a shame that it's a la carte, not a buffet style, quite some food is wasted this way.

Location is perfect for visiting the city center, staff very helpful, very good instructions to get to the hotel by car, just need to enter them into the google maps, good breakfast.

Drain smell from the shower - the shower siphon needs to be flooded, then it's ok.

Very spacious apartment in the old building with style and nice atmosphere. The room was very quiet with well-equipped kitchen. Very central location of the hotel with the windows view to the Christmas market.
