Parking is not easy in the area.

It was a very short stay to sleep for a few hours while traveling long distance. But everything was smooth and easy and just what we needed.

All the important things were writen in german. They should go for some english , spanish, french etc ..languages that everyone use. The parking is a bit tricky unless you translate from german to your language .

Our room needed a bit of extra maintainance, there was some wall paper detached from the wall. All the rest ok.

Everything, nice and tidy. Room and bathroom very clean, everything perfectly functioning. The staff very kind and exhaustive with our requests.Very welcoming with my dog, which is not something always granted. Carpark by the premises. The restaurant was cute and airy rich in choices, german standard plus continental standard. Fresh made, tasty and plentiful. Lovely area with refurbished XVIII century’s old houses around. Amazing the bakery on the other side of the street! At 150 mt, there is a the mediaeval church and around a court with what is left from the ancient suburb, a little group of wooden houses from the XV-XVI centuries, totally refurbished, absolutely a lovely discovery! Thank you for making our stay in Hamm special 😃🌻

Room we stayed in was a bit dated,not the one from the photo,but still clean. Maybe because we have had a dog with us? Restaurant was closed for the hotel guests on the day of arrival, but luckily there is another one opposite, which was open.

Hotel located 2 minutes from the motorway in a quiet neighborhood. Enough parking space . Staff friendly and helpful, helped us with a special request! Well done 👍. Dogs allowed. Very good breakfast, wide range of selection

Nobody at the reception desk in the afternoon - we got the key from the locker after calling the staff, but we didn't get any info upfront that it would look like this. You can hear everything from the corridor through thin doors. The breakfast is medium and I especially missed good coffee before a long drive that we had that day.

We had a room for 3 persons and I saw on the floor plan that it was the biggest room on the second floor, it was nice and spacious and recently renovated. The location is very quiet and close to the highway so good for a break during a long trip.

On arrival the door of the hotel closed and no staff around. PIN for the box with room keys which was displayed on our booking was the wrong one. Called a few times the property contact phone number but nobody replied. Left messages on answering machine with request of immediate contact. Messaged a property with the same request via bookong.com app but nobody replied till now (05.09.2023). My partner went do the nearby restaurant to ask if anybody knows how to contact the property or get our room key. A waiter from restaurant came back with my partner and said that he new a code but he has nothing to do with a property. But if there is a key in the box with a liable displaying my name we will be able to get inside. Fortunately there was the right key and we were able to access our room. Next morning we arrived for our breakfast and there was nothing prepared and no staff around. After a few minutes a lady arrived, who was a cleaner. We tried to ask her if she knew what was going on but unfortunately due to the language barrier she was unable to answer our questions. The young German couple, which we had met at the hotel lobby was also stunned that there was no breakfast provided and they had to go to the nearby café to buy breakfast. They were very surprised because according them the day before everything was fine (staff present and breakfast provided). We raised a complain with Booking.com and requested a full refund. We are double shocked by the treatment of this hotel, especially that in April this year we stayed there and our experience was exceptional! Maybe Booking.com should consider removing them from their website?
