The parking lot is not big and it is not clear which part belongs to the hotel.

It's a great little hotel. Nearby is a beer restaurant with delicious food and good beer. I liked the restaurant for its traditional atmosphere.

We were so incredibly lucky to stay in this hotel. We booked two rooms for our family: the rooms are tidy, the bathrooms have been renovated recently, looking brand new and clean. The hotel restaurant was full on the evening of our arrival (seems like a popular place among locals) but the hotel stuff gave us few good restaurant recommendations within the walking distance. The stuff was incredibly friendly and helpful, spoke English well, so it was easy to communicate. In the morning, the stuff also helped us when it appeared that we had some technical isuues with our car. We are enormously grateful for all the support along the way! Bonus: you can find some old pictures of the hotel and the local market square in the hotel's restaurant. Looks so cool!

The interior of the rooms is a bit outdated, but this is already the case in many similar hotels in Germany.

A great overnight stop on the way to southern Europe. It is possible to have breakfast and dinner on site. Nice, renovated bathroom. The hotel is close to the autobahn, but not on its side. Located in a small and tidy town.

Breakfast range was about what you would expect, but the buffet was presented on one small table and was not much space around it. There were a lot of people all trying to have breakfast around 9 o'clock. This could've been a one-off because it was a Sunday on a bank holiday weekend.

Excellent bathroom. We were on top floor. Bathroom had roof window and was very modern. We also had a great view over the rooftops. Very convenient check-in / check-out times

Room was not being warmed, very cold when we arrived lately. Room need to be repaired, shower head broken. Bed apparel was too small for adult male.

After a 10 hour drive in the 30 degree sun we arrived loaded with luggage and with dog and.. walking 2 floors of stairs was devastating. The room was comfortable but very warm being on the top floor. The large attic bathroom was confortable but not for the bathtub which is located in the part where th ceiling is low. The nearby church bell tower rang all night, even the half hours!! Unlucky we found rude room neighbors talking all night long.

The couple of managers who take care Gruner Baum were very kind and courteous. Great breakfast and cappuccino too!! The location is lovely.

it’s close to the Autobahn but still enough distance to not hear anything. Rooms are modern, clean and quiet. Very good breakfast with enough choices of cold meats and cheese. Will book again when in this region.

my room number was 36, the room heating system was not working properly, I waited and waited but it remained cold. Later when I took control of the heating controller device then it started warming up but it gave up soon and did not hear further. I wanted to call the help desk or counter but internal phone system failed, it did not connect - it was dead (phone had sticker from room 35). lack of parking lots owned by the hotel is also a concern.

I liked the staff which was quite helpful at the checkin and checkout, although the breakfast was simple but enough for me.
