Nobody at the reception speaks English, only German... This is the first time I've been in a hotel where the reception doesn't speak any English.

Rooms that are facing the courtyard are very noisy. No AC IN the room, it was extremely hot. The pool was closed due to construction on site. Food is pretty bad - both breakfast and dinner. Minor issue - in the hotel’s website it states that there are e-bikes for rental with a cart for kids, the representative in the hotel told me that there aren’t any.

Clean, modern rooms. Great shower. Plenty of activities for children. Nice staff.

Pillows were quite bad, dinner really chaotic, staff could not fill up the food on time, food was OK. Breakfast was much better, but again very chaotic. Space just not enough for so many guests. No sign posts in hotel, was hard to find the reception, we encountered others with the same issue.

Gut Hügle is expanding. Some of the offerings & lots of outdoor space are closed due to construction work. We were lucky to have booked our stay during the construction work summer break. We would have appreciated having known about this construction work before the booking. Unfortunately, no information was available on booking.com, only on the Website of Gut Hügle and well hidden there. We received the information with the auto-response mail after booking the stay.

Güt Hügle is a lovely location in the countryside close to Ravensburg. There's plenty of space for the kiddies to play. They expanded in the last two years and built some nice wood buildings. The rooms there are cozy and clean. We chose the Buffet for Diner - there were plenty of choices and the food was ok.

Several things were bothersome about the stay. Firstly, reception claims to be open until 20:00 every day, and even has a note on the door saying this. We arrived at about 19:35 to find the door to reception locked, with our keys sellotaped to the outside of it. I could see there was someone on reception, but when they saw us, they turned the lights off and scurried off - not a friendly welcome. Due to this, we had a bit of an issue finding where dinner was being served as the instructions with the keys weren't overly helpful. The evening dinner buffet was very bland (and certainly not cheap) with not a great variety of foods. They have pizza chefs there but again, you have to pay extra (i.e. a full pizza price of 12+ EUR) if you avail yourself. The pizza was also not of a great standard. At the start of dinner, the waitress asked for our drinks, we ordered two coke zeros...10 minutes passed, nothing came. When she came by again we asked where our drinks were...she looked at her notepad and had clearly forgotten, so said she would go and get them...another 10 minutes pass still nothing...she comes by again and once more admits she has forgotten to put the order in...about 5-10 minutes later we get our drinks, roughly 3 or 4 minutes after we have all finished out meals. Nobody apologised or suggested they would be deducted from the bill - quite poor I thought. Due to the time of year (I suppose), most of the amenities which seemed appealing for a sort of "working farm" vibe were closed or being renovated. There are also electric car chargers at the hotel, which should be a plus point. I left my car on overnight and topped up around 70kwh but was shocked to see a bill for 95 Euro for the privilege. I understand this might not be within the hotel's control, but to get a bill like that which would have cost roughly 1/3 at a supercharger (or any destination charger in extremely expensive Switzerland) also leaves a sour taste.

The hotel is well located for trips to Ravensburgerland and the city itself. The rooms were clean and cosy and the bathroom was of a good standard. There was a small playroom for children and luckily as the hotel wasn't busy, we were able to use it extensively.

Poor customer service, wouldn’t change a simple date due to human error, spoke to booking.com to see if they would help and they ignored the request.

No real negatives, but I would just warn new guests about a few things: 1) the location is remote, so be aware that a car is pretty much required, and 2) the hotel is targeted towards families with children, so that may be a bother for some uninclined vacationers.

We really loved staying at Gut Hügle, if only for one night. We were able to get a very affordable price for our stay, so it makes it even more difficult to find any negatives. The room was really modern and well designed, and all of the architecture was new and high-end. We fit easily in the (quite small) room, the kitchen was a godsend and the bathroom was super-nice. Fancy shower gels and whatnot really crowned the whole experience. The TV had Netflix and other streams automatically available and everything was just great. The amenities in the hotel are top-level, although we didn't make use of the spa, cherry farm or corn maze. I could've stayed at Gut Hügle for a couple more nights!

It is very kinder friendly. The Appartement was spacious and well equipped.. 8 Min away from Ravensburger Spieleland! Enough Parking spaces.. the breakfast buffet was yummy

I do not find it fair to call it „erlebnishof“ since there is very little to experience. It is rather as a nice rural family friendly hotel with a restaurant with play area (inside and outside). The dinner buffet is not worth the money in my personal opinion.

The “garden view “ means the Room overlooking at restaurant with screaming kids (due to playground) and loud adults even after 10 p.m. Construction works (start from 7. A.m.) the hotel sent a message on that at 12 p.m. I booked this hotel with expectations to enjoy some views and relax. Instead it was noisy and crowded.

The room is new and well equipped. The bathroom is very nice and comfortable.

There was construction on site but it wasn't loud and it didn't bother me.

Everything was just amazing. I could not have asked for a better experience. The restaurant on site had incredible food, the staff were really nice, and the room was better than I could imagine.
