The apartment is great and clean. The kitchen has all necessary stuff. Both rooms (living and bedroom) have the view to the lake. You can take a walk around the lake and you can enjoying a cake and a coffee in the nearby restaurant. In my opinion the main attraction is the pool. There is a sauna, but we didn't use it.

Personally prefer an earlier breakfast. 9am open can get very crowded since it is also open for outside house guests. More importantly , for the buffet price, I thought there could have been more, like a pancake or waffle station station. Fruits could have been riper. Scrambled eggs seemed factory flavor. The spa clock was unfortunately wrong and late. By then the VesperCafe was already closed and no kitchen service available. Although it was also a nice relaxing drive to Wildehausen for a real dinner 🙂 since the rain dried

The general place and setting is wonderful. Orderly clean and natural. The summer gardens, the small vineyard, the lake, the chicken coop, the spa & pool facilities were fantastic. Even without a Massage therapist visit being able to accommodate us, the massage chair was good for a little decompression. The rooms are perfectly situated alongside an old growth tree line and very comfortable amenities. The welcome treat was a good touch for a little welcome refreshment. Our baby was able to be comfortably accommodated. My cellphone had no signal most of the region and we almost got lost But it also gave me more attention to enjoy the time. I was able to use the downstairs office phone to make a call.

Its the tiniest thing (especially since it was a lovely gesture) but because everything else was so perfect, the Welcome Cake in the fridge was a bit hard. My (German) fiancee didn't eat it and he LOVES cake. But really its a very nice thought to your customers

We loved the comfort and attention to detail throughout. The area, the view and the whole vibe were all fantastc. We really wished we could have taken more advantage of our too short stay.

There was nothing not to love.

The staff was very friendly. Especially Tina was extremely welcoming, and made us feel very at home. I forgot to wash and iron a shirt for a wedding, which then the staff proceeded to do for me for free without trouble. The property is located in beautiful surroundings with lots of woods, perfect for a nice hike. A highlight was the absolutely beautiful swimming pool and wellness area downstairs.

The breakfast starts at 9am which is a little late when one needs to travel.

Clean, bright rooms with comfortable beds. Lovely surroundings. Very good breakfast with homemade baked goods. Homemade cake left in our room for our arrival during our first stay at the hotel (this was our second) was a cherry on top!

I loved my stay at Gut Moorbeck: the rooms are beautifully decorated and are comfortable. It was warm when we stayed and the air conditioning was fabulous. The rooms and apartments mostly have a balcony to sit on, which is shaded by huge trees and protected from rain, so we could enjoy both the warm and the thunderstorm whilst sitting out! The wellness area is lovely and we enjoyed lots of visits to the pool, which was perfect. Despite there being other guests staying, the pool area was never busy and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We took breakfast in the cafe on one day and it was fabulous: lots of food and a nice glass of bubbly! For anyone reading this who has no German language skills, it can be a little tricky in the cafe, but my husbands school German saw us through:) Lena, the host we communicated with, speaks good English and was very amenable. It is in a fairly remote location, but this is perfect for a recuperative stay. There are supermarkets nearby if needed and touristy towns a short drive away. I loved it here and would recommend it for anyone wanting a relaxing and slow paced break. Thank you Lena and Gut Moorbeck!

Breakfast was fantastic and Lucia was very helpful and kind to accomodate my needs. Room was clean and functional with refrigerator also. Location was great in the middle of greenwood with lake view and very quiet. Relax area with swimming pool and sauna was great! A massage chair was available also. A little paradise!
