How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Extra sofa with leather cover that not comfy at all, linen sliding off , kids wake up all linen on the floor. Something must be change I believe 😀

Small number of towels for 4-person family.
Very convenient location on our journey to UK. The personnel was great, the room was ok. The breakfast was ok. Very decent hotel, though nothing extraordinary.

Very pleased with our stay beds a bit hard breakfast ok not many staff at breakfast breakage first morning glasses picked up large pieces but other pieces left on the floor

The dinner was ok, nothing special. The portions were way too big, we all had to return almost half of the food. It’s not very sustainable.
The breakfast was really good with lots of variety. I travelled by car so the location was not a problem. Parking was right in front of the hotel, which was nice. I enjoyed the bar, there was a nice mood to it.

Hotel marketed free parking, but when I reached the hotel, parking lots were full and they guided me to park to a supermarket parking lot nearby. It was close, but not what I expected.
It was easy to come by car and location was comfortable alongside autobahns, but far enough as the hotel surroundings were calm and quite. Staff also prepared breakfast bag, as I needed to depart early.

Everything fine but I in H4 Hotel.
I book apartments in other hotel H+. They write me about renovations and change hotel to H4Hotel Hanover. So reviews will be about H4. Nice soft bed. Parking was available. Staff helpful. And very good breakfast

The staff and the facilities were great. The breakfast and the dinner were very good. We actually lost our cat that was travelling with us and the staff, particularly Emily and Sam were so helpful in helping us track him down. All in all a really nice friendly hotel.

The shower should be covered as splashes water out but for us this wasn’t an issue. Sorry for cleaning stuff members. TV is missing English Chanel’s. BBC and CNN at least would be appreciated. We had a Chanel 041 set for CNN but not working. USB plugs in our room out of order unfortunately. Breakfast plates and coffee cups smaller size only. We would appreciate a plates of regular size as well as made us use extra plates. Not very economical for the hotel.
A large quiet comfortable room with enough space for suitcases and other belongs and internet connection. King size comfortable and clean bed with medium soft mattress and antiallergic bedding. Bathroom well prepared with all you need and enough space for your belongs. Room is well equipped with wardrobes and hangers, safe, fridge. A water( free of charge) coffee and alcohol and non alcohol drinks with snacks as well. Great breakfast solutions in buffe style open from early morning almost to the lunch time. Irish pub as a bonus. Carpark has some disabled spaces, some free of charge spaces on the side of the hotel and garage spaces payable. Also some free spaces on the road in front of the hotel. Staff friendly.

The room was chill, but since we only needed to sleep over we did not care too much.
Comparing to the same H+ hotel chain in another city in Germany, this one was much much better. Nice rooms, big parking space, good breakfast options and nice environment. You also get 2 small bottles of water as a complimentary option.

Nice room, friendly staff. Good breakfast and decent dinner in the restaurant. Close to A7 - uset it for overnight stay driving back and forth From Denmark to France/Italy.
