How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I wanted to check out and went to Frau Trotsenko. Even though she was not busy, she asked to check out with her colleague. Went to her and she busy on telephone. She asked me to do the check out with Frau Trotsenko, who was not doing anything and finally decided to check me out - bad moody. As you would say in German, she was very zickig, pushing the work to others. Not a good team member to have on any team.

Breakfast was very expensive for what it was. The pillows were incredibly soft, almost nothing there.
Location was close to main train lines. Staff went above and beyond to be helpful.

Better pillows. The hotel was clean but could be cleaner. Some broken buttons/ switches in the room.
It was close to train station and nice staff. Breakfast was good and the room was comfortable.

Shower temperature was not stable, it changed from cold to hot during washing.
Location was perfect, right in the center of city. Room was very nice, bathroom clean, all needed toiletries were there, even toothbrush and toothpaste. I liked 2 WC in suite and 2 flat TV-s. Quiet rooms, relaxing vacation. Nice executive launch, fresh coffee and drinks all day + snacks. Nice personnel, helpful and kind. Breakfast was excellent, only I missed was freshly squeezes orange juice. Personnel in restaurant and bar were very kind and professional.

The staff was perfect. Always ready to help you at any hour. We made a little mistake with the reservation witch they fixed it kindly and quickly. Very helpfully and always gentile. Amazing and abundant breakfast.

I didn´t like the somewhat sparse furnishings in the room. There was no closed wardrobe and only two open sehlves. For me alone it was enough. Actually it was a double room. For two peoplke there would be too little luggage storage space.
I liked the location of the hotel. It is easy to reach by car from the motorway. The hotel is centrally located near Alexanderplatz and has good connections to all public transport. I found the restaurant and bar of the hotel very cozy. The food was also excellent. The "Executive room" was also great, where you could maybe get small snacks, cakes and drinks for free. I can´t say anything about breakfast as I booked without breakfast.

Reception staff is not the most friendly. Everything you ask them seem like a burden to them instead of being helpful. A lot of people behind the counter during the day but the checking process takes an eternity. You have to fill in all the infos again that you've already provided to Booking. Took us 30 minutes to get the room key...
Practical location next to Alexanderplatz, if you want to take trains or the metro to navigate through Berlin. You can also reach a lot cool parts of Berlin by foot. Clean rooms with comfy beds.

The room felt smaller than the claimed 20 Sq.m. I was traveling with my colleague on a business trip and asked for two separate beds, but our beds were standing too close.

In my room there was no mobile service. The wifi service from the hotel was mostly working fine, but had some connection issues on one night.
The hotel is very nice on an excellent location about 5 minutes on foot from Alexanderplatz. The room was a quite spacious with a very comfortable bed and a good shower. Breakfast was also very good with lots of options to choose from. The staff was always very friendly.

It was too crowded, there were big groups staying at the hotel. staff was trying to serve too many people. Over crowded breakfast times. Pillows were uncomfortable.
Perfect location, at the center of Berlin close to attraction points, cafes & restaurants. Staff was very nice. Clean rooms.

We had to change room due to a toilet issue, the staff at the desk were very helpful but the young man who helped to move the extra bed was a little patronising, suggesting that you bang the flushing switch a few times to fix it. I think when you spend over €500 you expect better.
Location was amazing, 5 minute walk to the heart of Alexanderplatz. Hotel offered a good spread of food options throughout the day.
