Hotel staff were great. We had a bad experience with the waiter in the restaurant. Although our food was great, the waiter was rude, took over half an hour to take our drink order and it took over two hours to get our food.

No AC. However, they immediately gave us a fan when we asked. It was cold in the night so we dint need it. No tea/coffee in the room. The bathroom is TINY

The location is amazing. Next to Altebrucke, marktplatz, castle funicular and amazing haupstrasse. The hotel is a beautiful old property and the decor of the restaurant is gorgeous and its always full. Room has a mini fridge and iron. Comfortable room. Great breakfast with cereals, eggs, cold meats and cheeses, breads, Juices. Lovely coffee. They have a lift. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

The designated car park was fairly easy to find but there was a problem when we collected the car. The signposting for the exit was confusing and it took 10 minutes to find the way out . By the time I had found a way out I was " timed out " at the barrier, but there was no assistant in the office to help. Another 10 minutes wasted to raise the barrier. Incidentally, three other cars ( German and Swiss ) were also lost in the car park and had the same problem as we did. The car park owners need to do something about the signposting.

I can not say enough great things about the staff and the property. Everyone was so kind and helpful. I can't wait to return and stay longer. The location is perfect! Room 8 is magical with a perfect view of the castle.

I gave the facility and beds a rating of 4 of 5 only because people who are expecting a plush modern chain should find another hotel. I live in a circa 1900 historic home and I seek out special gems such as this hotel/restaurant. However, I would not miss eating here. The food is very good traditional German food with a special charming atmosphere.

I liked everything at this hotel restaurant. The location was fantastic for visiting the Christmas markets and the castle. I had a very spacious room on the top floor with a view of the castle which was special. The food at the restaurant is the best food I ate for 9 days visiting the Christmas markets along the Neckar and Rhine rivers. The hotel is local family owned and has lots of character fittingly for the Old Town. The Old Bridge to the city is a 2 minute walk. Actually, you can see it when you step out of the hotel. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Even if you are a hotel guest, you must reserve lunch and dinner. The restaurant was fully booked the two days I stayed. Honestly, I could have eaten every meal here.

It's a quieter street but nevertheless there were a lot of people going past late at night, who were very loud so we struggled sleeping.

Beautiful hotel right in the centre of the Old Town. Fantastic German restaurant just downstairs with lots of delicious food, also vegetarian options. Staff were very friendly.

Everything was OK in our stay.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city, and is wihin walking distance of restaurants, tourist attractions and Christmas markets. Our room faced the interior, so we didn't hear any noise from outside. The room heating was good; we didn't feel cold. Breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options. The staff was very friendly. If you're traveling by car, you can park at P12, which is just a few minutes' walk away and the hotel offers a discount coupon for parking there.
