How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I would have liked a complimentary water in my room.
Room was large, quiet, and very clean. Bed was firm and comfortable, so I slept well. Elevator access to my room was secure and easy to operate. The breakfasts were great! Gave me a lot to choose from. All excellent and tasty. Morning coffee start up was needed and did not disappoint.

There were no minus points for this hotel in my view. Thankyou for an exceptional stay... I recommend this hotel.
I do not have any complaints whatsoever with this stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful, breakfasts were relaxing and again exceptional. The room was spotless, the location was central with all trains and underground links. All in all a very relaxing and fabulous stay. Thankyou

There is no parking available next to the hotel, so you need to take your car and find a parking space yourself or following the hotel staff suggestion.

Breakfast was fantastic, lots of variety. Staff was very helpful and spoke English. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom was private also clean. Easily reached from the Horde train station, shops food within walking distance. A quiet neighborhood.

The pillows are too soft, at breakfast the juices are not fresh and the scrambled eggs are clearly not from fresh eggs.
The reception of the staff was very friendly, efficient and flawless.

A small fridge in the room could have been better.. and this hotel could be leveled to four stars! For first timers here, finding the parking building is quite complicated even when you have google maps..the park building is still under construction..and the car park fee of €12/ day should be waived for guests!
The location is excellent, quiet, nice ambience. The cleanliness and friendly staffs, excellent choice of breakfast

Parking is a bit of a pain and costs an extra 12euro but it's good that the hotel has its own parking area.
Great location by the lake with plenty of options for food. Staff were very helpful and friendly, rooms were comfortable and breakfast was good.

My wife’s medication needs to be kept cool and the room did not have a refrigerator.

I did not like parking location. it is not that it is complicated to find but still it is not the same building. also I did not expect that should pay also parking fee. so in fact when you check the price - it is Ok but then you have city tax and parking charge then you price is not nice anymore especially when you are here only in transit purpose to stay for the night and continue next morning traveling
clean hotel. you have what you expect - it is style of all Hampton by Hilton hotels)

- no shoe spoon, unfortunately. - breakfast was standard ok, but I missed the variety of wursts
- amazing view on a Hörder Castle. - very spacious room. - comfy bed, good mattress. - nice table and a very comfy chair. - even the place is located quite far away from the centre, it's reachable via the u-bahn within 20 minutes. The area of a Hörde district is very nice to stroll around, we wouldn't visit it if stayed in the very centre.

Staff were very welcoming and very helpful throughout the trip, the bedroom was so clean and very comfortable. Really enjoyed breakfast, the breakfast area was so clean and a lot to choose from, loved the juices and coffee and a selection of nice teas. The area was nice with really nice bars and restaurants close by, I was staying to attend the German Comic Con and would definitely stay at this hotel again.
