How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Pretty far away from the city center, but the bus stop is 2 min away (runs every 15/30 min) Paid 5 euro for a bottle of water.
Breakfast is a super, and my kid love to make the fresh waffle herself. Room and facilities are pretty new.

No Room Service. No, Pool. Very limited selection of food available in case if you want to order from the restaurant or bar.

There were 3 of us but they only prepared a bed and a towel for 2. They quickly fixed it after we asked them to.
The hotel isn't close to the centre but they gave us free bus tickets and the bus stop is opposite the hotel. We parked on the street for free. The breakfast was good.

We only found it a bit far away from the main attractions, and a bit crowded at the breakfast, however we stayed during Catholic Easter and this might have been a reason. The staff serving or overseeing the breakfast could have acted a bit more promptly in cleaning the tables or bringing clean cutlery, especially when people literally queued to find a table to serve their breakfast. However the food selection was nice and qualitative (fresh, re-stocked, diverse - I liked the waffle station) - maybe they were just overwhelmed.
Cleanliness degree, room size, parking facility, breakfast offerings and mattress quality/bed comfort - were aspects we highly appreciated. The staff was also very client oriented and accommodating, especially the reception staff - congratulations.

We booked the room with a couch which looked quite generous in the picture, but it was very difficult to sleep on it as it desintegrated during the night. My son ended up sleeing on the side. The double bed was ok. Parking is in the building next to the hotel. The cost is €12 per day.
The breakfast was quite good.

During this short stay, we didn't encounter anything we didn't like!
While the hotel isn't centrally located, it's easily accessible by bus. Despite it being a holiday period and quite busy, all the facilities were good, and the staff quickly replenished everything, ensuring that the breakfast spread remained exceptional. The rooms were immaculately clean and well-maintained. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time.

As I arrived only 2 staff who were not familiar with the systems checked me in. The check in is next to the bar and there were many people when I arrived. I asked many times about the internet and didn’t work. The information provided didn’t work (last name) and room number. Also they had mentioned I was upgraded since I had the Amex platinum card, but I wasn’t . The bed was very small.

Could be more for kids in the common area. Maybe a park outside to not ruin the peaceful environment
Super clean and well put together hotel. Reception area is nice and can relax and the breakfast is great. Easy parking and access to town with the free bus pass. Not much around in the immediate area but nice and quiet.

The room was bit small for three people and they don't provide free parking.
The location was ok. out of the city center but there was a bus stop in front for you to get to city easily. The stuff was friendly and room was clean and quite.

Hotel is located in the industrial district of the city, however so are many hotels in Konstanz, so getting from hotel to city centre and vice versa took a while
Great selection for breakfast (especially due to the fact that it was included in the price). Hotel was also very clean and staff very friendly

It's a new hotel, very comfortable and clean. The rooms are spacious with a comfy sitting corner, which was perfect for our cats. The shower is spacious as well.The hotel is very child and pet friendly. The breakfast was diverse and tasty, vegan options available and they serve good coffee as well. The staff was a bit slow sometimes but always helpful and friendly. All in all it's a great hotel, definitely worth at least 4 stars. I am very impressed, we plan to come again.

It is 3kms from the old town (although the walk along the river is really nice) and the room was quite small.
Very clean hotel with a quick and friendly check in. Breakfast was quite good and was until 11am at the weekend. Gym has decent treadmills.

Room wasn’t clean, there were spiders’ webs in the corners and dust in some places. You need to extra pay for parking space.
