Unfortunately, we didn't get much sleep. The rooms are quite well insulated from each other, but you can hear everything from the hallway. Guests woke us up at midnight, 1 AM, 3 AM, and then again around 5 in the morning. The door locks sounded at night as if someone was trying to break into our room. And in the morning, some ladies decided that 5 AM was the perfect time to have loud conversations in the hallway.

The accommodation is in a beautiful location. It's peaceful with a lovely view of the lake, accessible by a charming short path, where we could sit in chairs and enjoy the nature. The breakfast was abundant, and the staff were very kind. The rooms were small but perfectly adequate. The beds were comfortable, though a bit creaky.

The bed is soft so it is not so pleasant to sleep on it.

We were on long driving day and we needed somewhere to take a short sleep. The hotel location is perfect for that purpose with easy access from highway but stays in a quite village for sleep.

The shower door couldn't open properly, it would hit the toilet. And sitting down for the toilet required bumping your head against the shower door. Also the shower nob to change between shower head and rain shower fell off and we couldn't switch anymore.

The breakfast was good, there were enough options for everybody. Breakfast staff and reception staff was very kind and helpful. Great location. The breakfast area had a lovely lake view. The room was nice and according to the pictures.

The weather!

This is a pleasant hotel just outside Owschlag and there is plenty of parking, which is just as well as it's popular. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and the staff were pleasant and efficient. Views of the nearby lake were good and in good weather it's possible to sit outside and enjoy it all. Unfortunately, the weather was not good so no-one was sitting outside during our stay.

Clean hotel , nice views, rooms quite big. Walls and doors a bit thin but since this is a through travellers hotel with mainly families or people of à certain age , it was ok for us. Breakfast was very good.

Quite a bit of noise from the railway across the street. Fridge had old yoghurt in it, and it didn't look clean (see picture). "Bowling alley" was fun, but instructions in English would have been nice. Would have liked TV channels in English or Danish.

If opened window, one could hear crying baby in next room with fully opened window. If closed window, lacking fresh air. Also lightning in bathroom too small. Tried to walk around lake but no normal path, very slippy ground. Bettter take a car and go to Schlezwig.

There were a lot of spiders in the bathroom of our first room. We switched rooms, and in the second one there were a lot of spiders all around the window. The doors were poorly sound proofed, so we heard whenever someone was in the hallway or locked their doors. There is a railway across the street, so you should keep the window closed when sleeping. Might be a challenge mid-summer because of the heat.
