Could have been cleaner. The bus stop close to the property had limited time schedule. Hard to communicate in English with the host.

Owner was friendly and very helpful but one need a car to get around the area especially since the bust don’t function after 18:00! In summer Bus could run til at least 21:00!!!

There is a cat in the house and it seems, she pees on the carpet, when getting into the house it's noticeable, but inside the rooms with the door closed, I don't feel it. But I am sure the host will clean the carpet in a way that the next visitor will not have to experience this.

The bed was big and comfortable, with good water pressure, and the place is silent and close to nature, for hiking or exploring the landscape within your onward journey. The Breakfast was perfect. Very well presented, in nice and quiet settings. Perfect for those wanting to enjoy a good breakfast in a peaceful quiet environment. The Host was available, but it give me all the privacy and peace I needed.

The bathroom could have been cleaner, and the shower was totally blocked.

The bedroom was very nice, big enough with a small table and chairs. The breakfast was incredible!! There was a lot of choices, either in terms of drinks, salty and sweet stuff (boiled eggs, cakes, cereals, yoghurts, different breads, ham, cheese, fruits) ... in a nice room with original decoration. We really appreciated it.

We did not get any information of checking in but there was a phone number we could call. Maybe a short message on the door would be nice to let you know that you can go in and pick up the key. The room was a little cold but with the heating prices it is understandable for this price. (we just took a hot shower and it was fine)

The room was clean and tidy, the host is really nice and speaks english pretty well. The breakfast was phenomenal. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Old property, looks like it hasn't been renovated in years. They collect the booking amount in cash which is a bit absurd. There should be an option for card payment.

Great location, very close to Hintersee and Zauber Wald. Free breakfast is a bonus. You would have amazing mountain view right from the room window.

The heating situation was not good, the room was very cold every morning as the heater did not start to come on until after 8 in the morning, and it was the same situation with the shower. The heating situation and shower was repeated every evening when we returned to the room at 5PM it was cold and took some time to warm, but the shower never warmed. Also, the toilet seat would not remain up by itself as I had to use one hand to hold it up.

The breakfast was pretty good, a lot of variety, the breakfast room was a bit small but overall, the breakfast was good. We didn't however care to be locked in a a very specific time that we had to choose to eat our breakfast i.e., either 8, 9 or 10 o'clock no time in between without exceptions.

Mattresses were a bit too soft for our liking. Place might not be for everyone - it's a bit like staying at your grandparents, definitely not a hotel but this was to be expected.

Very friendly owner, pets were welcome. Beautiful local house with special atmosphere. Awesome breakfast. Room was large and clean. Great value for money.

I arrived, the owner showed me my room and said “there’s beer in the fridge downstairs you can help yourself” wasn’t drinking that night but what is there not to like about that? 😃 The location was stunning and the breakfast was good for the price for the price of the room. This place is what it is, you wont get 5* luxury but you will get 5* charm!

The host was really nice to me and my friend. We arrived late at the house, and yet we still got a warm welcome. There was also a big help for my friend (we asked for help from the host because something urgent came at night :)). Additionally, the breakfast was really lovely, the surrounding outside the house was really picturesque, a recommendation to have a morning walk before your breakfast :)

Beautiful and quiet location, simple and homely atmosphere. Hosts were very helpful. They waited for us without any problems despite our late arrival (standing on the highway for 3 hours due to an accident).
