Stylish place in a chic neighbourhood with good bedding and friendly staff. The little high quality hifi set on the room topped it off.

I booked a very small single room with a loft bed. Access to the loft bed is inappropriate. While I don't mind climbing a ladder, having the ladder parallel to the bed makes it very awkward to enter and especially exit the loft. I also did not like that there was no 24 hour reception and one had to get a key from a lock box in the lower ground floor.

The location is great and the price for the rooms and location was adequate. Location is super, very quiet. Common areas stylish, not opulent.

although a fantastic selection of reading materials were provided, with dark walls, a soft ceiling light and a bedside lamp that pointed at the ceiling, reading was a challenge. It was also very warm with no AC or fan, but the window did open

The only hiccup was at checkout. Even though we'd paid through the booking site, the hotel's system didn't recognise it, so we had to pay again, but received the refund 3 days later.

This hotel has a cool style, and it's in the perfect spot – you can stroll to loads of attractions. Our room faced a lovely garden and was super peaceful. We loved the chill common areas and the little extras like board games.

There was nothing I didn't like about ths hotel. It was quiet and in a really good location. Although it was raining upon arrival, the staff were helpful in booking me a taxi when I needed to go further than around the corner.

Breakfast was simple but well thought out. Coffee was excellent. The hotel was small enough to make it feel like a really intimate experience and yet all the services were spot on.

The location in the middle of district with charming old German villas and not far away from city centre. Very calm and relaxing. The hotel is super nice and design is great. Natural materials and everything was so thoughtful. The personal was great. The bed was really comfortable and room was clean

Price of the room. Because of world Trialthon during the day and Bruce Springsteen concert in the evening the room was overpriced.

The bathroom in a single room was rather tiny: the spacious shower occupied most of the space and there was almost no room to turn around.

Excellent location in a quiet bohemian neighborhood close to the Congress Center Hamburg. Breakfast was great. Friendly and attentive staff.

location was central but quiet in a smart area - very friendly staff - even if i had a very small room (21) it was very comfortable and clean and had a good bathroom. The breakfast looked really good with someone frying eggs - but as i dont usually need more that a coffee and croissant i decided not to take the 22€ breakfast option.

If I had wanted to use a desk, I would not have found one inside my room (I booked the most economic type of rooms), but there would have been space to work within the hotel.

Staff very friendly, rooms modern and nicely refurnished in a beautiful "merchant family house" from the late 1800s, rooms very clean; building, rooms and the surrounding area exceptionally well-tended.

my single room was cozy but tiny. i still liked it.

This is a beautiful 140 year old townhouse in one of the most glorious residential streets of Rothenbaum near the university. stilwerk is a design shopping mall near the Harbour which uses this hotel as a show room for some of their products. every piece from the chairs to the toilets you can order. Furthermore, the breakfast is small but delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. They offer bikes with which you can be in the city center in ten minutes.
