How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No smart tv (Netflix/YouTube), the ac was too hot and the staff couldn't fix it.
The staff were so nice and helpful, nice room size, quiet location few minutes from train station and 15 minutes walk from central station.

We loved the room. It was this cute minimalistic retro style room. Its was a nice bathroom too. It was all really likable. Unfortunatly once we got there one of the nightlights was broken. It could've happened to anyone so we didn't mind. But we were scared that if we didn't let someone know, they would charge us for it. On the contrary they gave us 2 drinks on the house which was really nice of them. And we wanted to book the spa for a couple of hours. They told us about the broken sauna right before we wanted to go in. But, the steambath was still working. So they gave us two options. We could cancel without charging us or we could book it for half the price. This might sound obvious to some people to get offered these things, but the staff really isn't this nice a lot of the time. We just got a bit of bad luck on vacation sometimes, but they really made sure our stay would be less fun because of that. We really enjoyed our stay here and the staff was incredibly helpful and nice to us. It's definitely a place I would recommend to other people.

nothing really important... please take in consideration that, if you are reaching the hotel by car, parking availability is on a public parking nearby and that the daily cost could be significant.
Really appreciated this Hotel. Clean Room, Very clean bath, Good design of the shared spaces. Very particular attention to any detail. Personell taking care about customer needs.

No bathrobe and sleepers in the rooms.
Nice and comfortable rooms with perfect morning coffee, perfect bar and breakfast area. Good location that offers nice bar and restaurant options nearby. Pleasant atmosphere supported by friendly staff.

There is no parking.
The area was within walking distance from the center. The staff was amazing and the breakfast was one of the best international breakfasts I’ve had.

Loved the decor. Compact but perfect for a long weekend away. Very clean, warm and cosy. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

The main criticism during our stay was the room temperature. Despite having no active heating the room was very warm and the air conditioning minimum was only 18°. With the AC switched off the room remained so warm that we needed to sleep with the windows open which meant we were disturbed with the road noise at night. The problem was resolved by leaving the windows open by day. One minor point was that there were no English TV channels however the Wi-Fi was good enough for streaming.
Pleasant, comfortable reception area with friendly staff. 24/7 complementary snacks and a 'honesty' bar for bottled beer, soft drinks along with a free coffee machine. Despite room overlooking a busy road it was very quiet with the windows closed. The room had an excellent roomy walk-in shower in the bathroom which were separate from the toilet. The fridge was on and although un-stocked, great for keeping bottled water in. Having plug sockets by the bedsides might seem an odd 'like' but it makes a big difference if you want to charge your phone and listen to it, and even more of a boon for people travelling with a CPAP machine.

Well, gym was rather small and not very well equipped.
Staff was kind, attentive, professional - excellent! I have been to Dusseldorf 10 times for Medica, this is the best hotel I have stayed in so far.
