Very pleasant staff. Breakfast not very varied, but high quality (bread, meats, salmon, cheeses, boiled eggs, fruit, vegetables, cereal, juice, tea, coffee, yogurt, kinder sweet snacks). Parking in front of the hotel. Beautiful building.

I found the wifi signal was pretty low, even though there were several wifi nets, the quality of the signal was very low.

Second stay as part of an extended Germany trip, and was great the second time around too. Were able to accommodate some last minute changes and stored some of our luggage so we didn't have to lug it around the country.

Wonderfully spacious yet cozy rooms in a lordly estate house. Stayed with two young children and no one complained of noise (those thick stone walls!). Wonderful breakfast, and we had a delightful dinner on one night of our stay. Highly recommended.

I believe that good rating of hotel and service starts from if everything works good without any unusual cases. But perfect service and great place to stay where you want come back and recommend to your friends this is a place about something more. About welcoming, helpful team and reaction in unusual situation. But in this place I have very unpleasant situation, when we made mistake in the booking and specified booking for 1 person. When it was found out we proposed to change it or pay difference, but administrator told us that nothing critical and lets leave it as it is. We were thankful and glad for it. As we planed to have a long drive next day we asked if it possible to have breakfast at 7am instead of 8am. We didn't insist on it, just asked if it possible. Administrator confirmed it and we happy of that went to sleep. Next morning when we came to breakfast at 7, nothing was ready and we understood that its usual request so decided to ask only milk of hot water to make coffee , as we heard some moves next door. But when my husband went there, knocked and asked, this administrator came to us, started yelling to us, that we told about breakfast at 7.30 and we are stayed for free and now asking for something more. But here isn't the topic, because we proposed to pay difference and didn't insist on having breakfast earlier, just asked about possibility to have it. We left building without breakfast and spent all day on the road, lucky we to find and buy some food on nearest fuel station. So my conclusion: if you want to have welcome and comfortable stay don't go to this place. Because behind smile you can find angry old man yelling on you. To add that room wasn't the same as I saw in the photos and has very thin walls, so we hear every move in next room, so its was really awful experience: bad sleep and spoiled breakfast.

It would be nice to have a kettle in your room to make tea or coffee, but this seems a trend in Germany hotels.

Beautiful well loved historical building. The owner is always willing to help make your stay the best experience. Dinner was downstairs in the atmospheric cellar and the outstanding delicious breakfast in a bright sunny dinning room upstairs. We have already booked to return.
