Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BelgiumThe breakfast on the room was tiny tiny and really not good value for money, really a shame to spoil a very good product with a poor assessment of clients’ needs. Also, making guests pay for a bottle of water in the room is ridiculous at this price point. I have been in many Hilton and similar for business travel and could not remember such issues. I still trust the brand and presume this is an individual and exceptional case.

There was a bus/tram stop right in front of the hotel. Easy access to main train station and the old town area. Room is comfortable and nice

The location is fantastic, and it was close to public transport. We ate on the restaurant 2 nights and the food fantastic.. The restaurant and foyer area very impressive.

Great hotel, great staff. Excellent and stylish hotel, very clean comfortable and quiet room, great and full breakfast (as well as the place), free underground parking. The behavior of the staff impressed us and made us feel as welcome as we feel when we are greeted and hosted by our dear friends. All the staff were impeccable but we would like to give special mention to SIMONE. Sensitive, friendly, with excellent knowledge and targeted answers to our questions, ready to help us effectively. She made reservations and found us places to eat and visit. Simone, thank you. I highly recommend it.

NetherlandsIt was our wedding weekend, and we asked for a room with a nice view. Instead, we got a room with a view on the building area (see the picture). I am sure they had other rooms, but after seeing our request, they did not even think of suggesting smth. with a nicer view outside. The bed is really small for a Queen Room. The wifi does not work according to their own instructions (surname + the number of the room); you need to call to the frontdesk to ask them for a promotional code, which then you need to enter. Overall, I feel we overpaid twice compared to what that room actually costs.
It was clean, but as clean as you expect in any 3-star holiday. We also did not hear other neighbours much even though there was a door from our room to an adjacent room.
