How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Hotel is located next to the station. It was very easy to reach the city centre, ~15 min. The staff was very nice, open and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable for this price. Recommend to stay here.

We were very precise in letting the hotel know about our check-in time even when our flight was delayed. We arrived at midnight tired after a day of travelling and the staff at reception was on the phone and did not even aknowledge we had entered the hotel. It let us wait 20 minutes before he actually let us check-in without even apologize for the wait. Very rude. And not a very nice welcome.
Room was clean and spacious. Bed were comfortable - relatively quiet as our room was not facing the main road.

Wifi signal was pretty weak in the room I was in. Navigating there from the train station for the first time can be confusing. There is only one exit to the hotel.
Just beside the train station with all the major train lines to the centre of Munich and Munich central station. Spotless clean rooms, very comfortable beds and staff were friendly. The room itself is basic but sufficient for a short stay. Paid 64 euros a night and it is pretty value for money.

My room faced a major road, which was quite noisy early in the morning. This disturbed my sleep. Ask for a room facing into the internal courtyard.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, the shower nice and strong. The breakfast was generous and delicious.

The room is small. No feridge available inside the room and room service deliver to you with charge and the menu for dinner and breakfast of the kitchen is not variable.

1 - I stayed 5 nights and check-in available after 3 pm(or smth like that), definitely after breakfast, but hotel wanted to charge me for 6 breakfasts instead of 5. How could you eat 6 breakfasts if you stay only 5 nights. Ridiculous. 2 - I don't know what happened to their software, but for me breakfast costed 48Euros instead of 24, and if didn't start a dispute, they would charge me without any doubts. 3 - Check out process took more than 20 mins because of wrong bill, so I almost missed my train. I had to run to catch a train, in -7C weather in winter, that is not a safe, from my perspective.
Room was comfortable enough, for breakfast you have a plenty of food to choose. Location is hard to rate, depends on your needs, however you can reach city center(Marienplatz) in 15 minutes with S-bahn, and this is great, I think. Munich experience was absolutely messed up by checkout. I guess I will return tho this hotel again, because location is perfect to me, but I will definitely consider other options next time before make a booking.

Once I had been at the hotel for 4 days, a service employee in the restaurant replied to my 'Good morning' greeting with 'what is your room number!' Not very pleasant way to be greeted.
The proximity to the tram line was very important to me. Breakfast food was varied and good quality. The room was clean and very quiet. Secure access to the rooms from the elevator was appreciated.

To be more central, but the excellent transportation system just few feet away made it totally worth the stay there.

Good choice for breakfast but always the same. There could be some variation of cakes, for example. While there are two big sinks in the bathroom, the sink in the toilet is extremely small.
Although the hotel is not in the centre, there is easy access to Marienplatz area with tram or just four stops with the train. We had a suite which was excellent and big enough for three adults.
