The showerhead in bathroom for women had troubles I think. The heating water is small and not continuous.

The location is 30 minutes walk from the center of Cologne. However, this is not a negative, there are many good parks and places to eat around the hotel.

The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well designed. Although there was a shared toilet and bathroom on the floor, they were also very clean.

More of a hint than something I didn't appreciate- I'm 5'3" and the boat bed was quite high to reach, so I'm thinking if you're smaller or have mobility issues maybe talk to the hotel managers beforehand so you can get something more accessible.

The decoration was beautiful! The bed was a boat, and the bathrooms were beautiful (and clean, and spacious). The sixth floor was especially gorgeous. Amenities were perfect, the corridors were quiet, staff was helpful, and the tram nearby was only 10/15 minutes from the main train station. I would stay again.

It is a little expensive, but it's Germany!

Everything was perfect. Clean, close to public transport, great area. Beds are spacious and comfortable with curtains for more privacy! They also give you one towel, for free.

-if you are looking for a typical social hostel this is not it. There‘s only a small common room which is usually empty. So if you’d like to socialize a lot, maybe pick sth else. Apart from that it‘s a perfect hostel. -there‘s no kitchen to cook

It was very clean and the beds were in our own private space which made me feel very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and honestly, this is one of the best hostels I have stayed in, I would definitely come back.

The room had a bit of a musty smell (which you get used to quickly). I guess the bunk bed curtains need to get washed more frequently as well as let fresh air in the room for a few hours a day

All the rooms have character (and names!) Clean and with lots of privacy, even in the 8 bed dorm room There is enough private space just outside the showers to get dressed comfortably, and area to get ready for the day The staff is very friendly Free tea and coffee for guests

Nice bar and café on the ground floor, everything was really clean, mainly vegan food offered <3, super friendly staff, good central location, nice and lovely rooms (I had a triple room for me and my friends), a lot of restaurants and bars in the area

The entrance is not overly obvious, you enter from the door next to the cafe. You also have to ring the doorbell if you don't have a key yet so it can feel awkward at first. Also noting that I do prefer to self cater and this hostel doesn't have a kitchen for common use but does have hot water available.

I love the themed rooms, it really gives the place a unique and homely feel. The bed was massive! Definitely not what you usually expect in a dorm and gives you a real deal of privacy and your own space. The free tea and coffee were a nice touch as were all the really accessible recommendations and local map.

The bathroom(toilets) felt more like a public bathroom than a hostel bathroom due to how it was built. (But I guess that doesn't really matter that much)

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were good. The room theming was interesting. Overall this exceeded my expectations and it was definitely worth it!

Nothing: the hostel met my expectations. A technical problem with the water pressure after 8pm occured, but I guessed it was beyond the hostel's control. I would add one more wall coat hanger in the dormitory, but, like I said, everything was perfect.

I stayed in the 4-bed female dormitory. The bed was super comfy, the bulk has curtains to offer privacy. Each guest has a spacius locker to use, you don'y need to use your own padlock. Bathrooms and common areas are very clean. Complimentary tea and coffee. Helpful and friendly staff. The hostel is easy to reach by public transportation. It's located closed to downtown. I felt safe.
