The room is very small and the window couldn't be opened. There is little ventilation and after I took a hot shower the room was very wet.

The location is great. The breakfast wasn't bad either.

The location of the Hostel was pretty good, with a tram station not far away. We are used to walking, so we were mostly walking to all the sights. The room was nice and clean. Soap and everything available as it should be. The breakfast had a good variety of choices to make sandwiches or having something warm like scrambled eggs and bacon. In comparison to other places the price was also good.

Price is too much for this type of hotel (i stayed in a private room not the dorm one). Breakfast is subpar like in most hotels in europe.

I went here for a christmas market trip and location was great for that. Room was really clean.

loved the convenience. we drove to the hotel from southern germany. the immediate streets were wide and not busy. the streets were quiet. our room looked onto the outdoor courtyard, also quiet. Breakfast was wonderful. Parking was already full (minimal space) and our large van wouldn't have fit anyway. Sparkasse Parking was easy enough and only 100m north. They kept our luggage so we didnt have to leave it in the parked car and risk the car getting broken into. Most of the staff was very kind. We are happy we stayed here and will stay again. Breakfast was great. Eggs, bacon, toast, ham/cheese butter nutella, yogurt bar, apples, cucumber tomato salad, coffee, hot chocolate AND a kids play area.

We had an extremely loud room for our first night. Facing a night bar there was a lot of very loud noise all the way to 4am,even with the windows closed the noise was very loud. When we requested a different room because that night was important to rest due to driving for long hours the next day, staff on duty first refused, claimed there were no other rooms, became rude and only upon insisting speaking to someone who is a manager then suddenly there was a room available. A bit unnecessary that whole circus.... There was also no cold water in the first room which same staff member claimed to be a building issue but new room had scalding hot water available.... Overall I understand things can happen but not giving guests the proper service and problem solving only makes things worse. Unnecessarily.

Beds and pillows were really comfortable. Bathroom facilities also really nice as everything looked new. Some staff was really nice and knowledgeable. Good variety at breakfast.

Shower tray floods if the shower on more than 40%. Bathroom although clean & modern didn’t feel private enough (if you know what I mean) No extraction fan in bathroom nor any air con available so if wanting fresh air had to open a window which then meant city noise. Bath towel could have been bigger & the beanbag pillow wasn’t too our liking however we bring our own having driven to Cologne.

Location to Christmas markets, most within walking distance. Public Transportation, trams/buses/trains very close by, also public car parking most at €20 per day. Room comfortably warm, bathroom modern, excellent shower (use carefully) Cupboard space available. Bed more comfortable than it looked. Excellent continental style buffet breakfast which was included in our price. Very good free WiFi. Property accessible 24 hours with manned reception. Staff we interacted with were pleasant & helpful - spoke good english.

There was no cleaning in our 3 days stay. At least taking out the garbage and changing towels on daily basis would be nice.

We came to Cologne for Christmas Markets and location was very convenient to walk pretty much to all of them. Also we arrived very late at night but Ali at the front desk welcomed us kindly. Room was spacious enough for 3 people, it was warm and wifi worked well.

Very loud noises at night from other people inside the Building…regret not having earplugs.

Had a great experience, staff is very friendly, room and bathroom was clean. The rooftop is a very cool hangout spot and the breakfast was great! Would stay here again!
