Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Germany- towards the end of the year the hotel was packed with families including children creating a lot of noise especially early in the morning, soundproofing towards the hallway could be improved
- located in the heart of Ruhpolding and with a very nice view of the mountains and the river and close access to the city centre and everything of need - sufficient space for parking available directly at the hotel (free of charge) - very modern facilities in good condition, apparently the hotel has been modernized just recently - awesome wellness area with state of the art sauna and relaxation area - nice spaceous rooms with modern facilities and appealing style as well - the staff is very friendly and interested in making your stay exceptionell (they seem to be very motivated as the hotel is privately owned) - breakfast and the three course dinner menu are really worth it, you receive higher level cuisine for a really reasonable price. The restaurant and bar are also attracting customers from outside the hotel - we can only recommend the stay at Helds as we had a nice time with a great room (junior suite), awesome view of the mountains and a relaxing time at the spa

GermanyNot really a complaint, but if you rent one of their E Mountainbikes (Haibike, new and of a very high quality) you should be aware that it might not always be possible to ‚rescue you‘ if you have a breakdown (some mountain roads can only be accessed by forestry vehicles or mountain rescue). In our case we had the bike (flat tire) repaired at a bike shop and were subsequently fully reimbursed.
The hotel is very clean and the staff were highly professional. The rooms (junior suite) are generously large and despite the nearby road the soundproofing ensures a quiet night. Breakfast is an experience so leave enough time to appreciate the local specialities and wonder at the incredible woodwork in the room. The evening meal is worth every cent and is delicious. Relax in the bar afterwards, they know what they are doing there too.
