The public areas were a bit over heated for my liking but might suite those from warmer climes.

A large room with en suite bathroom in a fine old mansion. A quiet location in a very affluent suburb of the city with good public transport links into town. Alternatively a very pleasant lakeside stroll will take you to the centre. Plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast.

The hotel is in a sensational location, not far from the centre, with which it is very well connected, yet in a quite secluded setting opposite a lake surrounded by greenery. An ideal place to relax, but also as a base for exploring Hamburg. Very helpful and communicative staff. Rooms with stylish interiors. Tasty breakfasts with options for everyone.

There is an elevator but to enter from the front entrance you need to climb a flight of steps, the only way to avoid this is to entre through the underground carpark. This might have been helpfulful information shared before arrival. Feathered pillows would be a good option for customers too.

The room was spacious and light, the bed comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Left a phone charger behind in the room and the Hotel contacted me to send back to my home - very helpful - Thank You The underground garage car carousel is so entertaining !

The bathroom light was not much and could be improved but overall no big complains !

We got a suite 45 square meter second floor view to the courtyard. I am very pleased with the room itself and the service. Spacious room with beautiful high ceiling and clean and spacious bathroom. Bed was comfy and the room had nice radiators. Breakfast was also very good. The staff were also very helpful.

Some noise travels from the hallway to the room but that is understandable with wood flooring.

The room has low window light. And the floor was fully rug, even though the rug was clean, I have allergies and normally don't prefer rug floor at hotels I stay.

Historic belle epoque Stadthaus beautifully renovated and fit for discerning travelers who appreciate history and authenticity. Great hotel experience too; comfortable bed, quality furnishings, great breakfast. Amazing quality for the price. Lakeside location next to the Alster with coffee on a balcony overlooking was just magical.

We received upgrade to a more spacious room overlooking Alster which was very nice! Beautiful design & style of hotel and room with comfortable bed and big bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and hotel personal extremely friendly and flexible when we needed a bit later check-out and earlier check-in. Pleasure to stay there!

Breakfast is on two levels—- meaning, that some people have to carry their breakfast items up a steep staircase. It everyone’s cup of tea. In our room the coffee machine was broken throughout our stay, which didn’t make us happy. Our room was down a few flight of stairs which we had to reach with our suitcases and bags on our own.
