Light in the room should definitely be better arranged. Really darkish and not good for the eyes if you want to check the map or simply read something.

The hotel was surprisingly comfortable, and located quite well not far from the main city's attractions. Very friendly and helpful staff members. Lovely breakfast, everything served fresh. The room was warm, with a nice view at the city centre. Sauna is a great option, and we appreciated the reasonable price for it.

It is true that the carpet in the rooms or in the halls leading to the rooms are not as clean as they should but this was not too bad. Also if i had to mention something is that instead of the double bed that i asked and booked for , my room came with 2 single bed which we had to unite together . Not very comfortable. Internet can be awful and very frustrating at times

I was very skeptical before booking to stay at this hotel because of the rating that it has , but i have to say that everything is fine .Especially for the price. Value for money. Location is great and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There may be better and newer or more modern hotels in Stralsund but when i am back i dont think that i will hesitate staying here.

A third bed in a double room was unnecessary for me as a solo traveler - this could easily have been removed before I arrived for better space, but didn't bother me for one night. Parking was a bit poorly organized on late arrival - I eventually found one, but had expected the staff to be somewhat more accommodating in explaining and helping to find a parking space.

The room was great and offered everything I needed (plus more) for one night. Nice atmosphere and staff. The breakfast was great with a delicious and varied selection.

The hotel rooms are not "fancy" and could use a lick of paint, but as stated, it's nice and clean

Very spacious and clean room. Outstanding service both at the front desk and in the restaurant, and the hotel is situated just outside of the city center with great views over either the "Altstadt" or the water and Rügen

Bad wi-fi (at least on 5th floor) so unable to work. The additional couch to sleep on was very small for two people (and not very comfortable, too soft, had a stiff neck every morning). Also, there was an empty case where the refrigerator obviously used to be.... That was a big disappointment, especially when you travel with kids.

Very good breakfast, just very small room with food/drinks for too many people. (Seating area OK), Staff was nice, breakfast very tasty with wide selection.

Really nice & helpful staff, offered to drive me to the Train Station in case my cab would run late. Breakfast was Great! Location is close to central station & City Center. Room had ocean view :) Great value gor Money in a Business Traveller for 1-2 Nights . (There are a few old stains on carpet but beside this everything was clean!)

The overall cleanness was satisfying however it could be a bit better. You could find some hairs from the previous hotel guests in the shower for example. But only if you look for it --> it was clean but not deep clean.

The room we had was huge! Even though we just booked for a standard room it was probably one of the biggest hotel rooms I ever got. The Staff was super duper friendly, happy to show anything you can do and knowledgeful. You could rent bikes for 15€ per day.

It has no ventelation. So the Windows have to be open. we was there in the summer with a very warm day and night. It was so hot in the room that we could not sleep.

The cost of breakfast was high compared to other hotels. For 17 Euros. I expected more than just scrambled eggs and a sausage, for warm food. No bacon etc.

I didn't know how much I have to pay for the addional bed. Unfortunately, it wasn't comfortable. It would have been helpful to have some bikes to borrow for the guests, because the way to the beach is long.

I liked the great variety of food for breakfast. The view from our room was great, too.

Well, the hotel is fine, personel is very nice. But it is a 4star hotel and yet it looks like 3star at best! No fridge in the room, no complimentary water, no condiments in bathroom, even no kettle to make some coffee or tea ....and all of this for 135 euro, which is extremly expensive for that standard. So I am dissapiinted.

If you are used to VHbW standards, forget about them here. It's just an old, not renowated local hotel that was just rebranded - but nothing new came with the name. 1. Carpets are stained, walls are dirty. 2. If you get a room with a Windows on a street during summer - forget about good sleep. You will have to open the window, cause there is no A/C and the noisy street will do the rest.

Convenient location, easy to park on the street next to the building and the city parking is cheap.
