Parking was off -site and had to leave keys with reception in case car had to be moved for others to access the remaining spaces. Not ideal, but it was only a few minutes walk from the hotel.

German beds are always too hard for me. The room was over the road and it was loud until late and early with trash, real early and really loud. Expected as we traveled on Mon-Tues rather than a weekend and there aren't a ton of restaurants right there, though close by, so might not have been a problem with a weekend stay.

Good.location, easy to get to, parking available. Cozy place with breakfast service. Friendly staff; everyone spoke English or enough for us to communicate effectively.

The very small tv set and the almost exclusively german-language channels. The Netherlands and Belgium are neighboring countries so a few Dutch and Belgian channels should be in the package.

The parking is a bit too far away, but at least it is good that it exists. There is some walking distance to get to the city center. Too bad that many of the nearby eating places were out of business. Hard to get there, even when guided by a GPS - Koblenz has an intricate street layout, especially as you get close to the city center, I guess also because of the two rivers - so be prepared to miss the right turn several times and don't loose your temper.

The restaurant has access to an inner yard, which is quite a nice place to take the breakfast in the summer mornings - nice garden, with lots of flowers and greenery. The interior of the hotel has a classy look, although one wouldn't say that based on the outside façade. The staff is always smiling. The room was very spacious. The breakfast, although standard, was fresh and tasty. If you stay several days, this is a great spot to do a day trip to Bad Ems and Burg Eltz.

The small rooms in the front are indeed small and can be a bit noisy.

The breakfast buffet was delicious! There is a lovely, quiet garden in the back where one can sit in the evening and enjoy fresh air and a nice beverage. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Everything was great, especially the staff. So friendly and helpful. They parked our car quickly and check-in was extremely efficient. Rooms were nice and larger than expected. It is an older hotel, but is well-maintained. Breakfast was extensive and fresh.

We may not think of anything not being fine

We were admired by the room features. It is very comfortable, spacious and pleasant. The bed was stupendous, the mattress having the right toughness. A kettle and two cups were already in the room, so we needn't ask for them. The staff members were extremely kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. The cheese was very tasty as well as the scrambled eggs. The orange juice is also particularly good.

The aircon in the room was poor, it's set to only go as low as 22C and it was very hot outside c25C which made for uncomfortable sleeping. The shower was absolutely the worst we've experienced in any hotel of any star rating. Shame really because the bathroom was large and well appointed. The shower really was a low pressure dribble and when it's so hot outside awful, it took me a good 15 minutes to feel like I was clean. The staff were very nice but when I asked for some ice and was told there wasn't any and 'It's not normal' really? No ice available in a hotel, a first for me.

Breakfast was good, nice selection of hot and cold, sweet and savoury. The location was perfect for us, a 7 minute stroll from the main train station (Hauptbahnhoff) and a 15 minute stroll to main tourist attractions, such as, the Deutsche Eck, the Cable Car to the Fortress and the Rhine for day river trips. Plenty of restaurants within a 5 minute walk and the town centre no more than a 15 minute walk away.

Nothing, hotel was perfect for 1 or 2 days stay

Room was very clean and comfortable, air conditioning worked wonderful, hotel staff was very informative and friendly. Hotel provide luggage storage before check-in and after check out at no charge. Luggage left prior to check-in was left in our room upon arrival. Less then 10 minute walk from main station and about 15 min walk to main attractions along the water. Kolbenz should be enjoyed for a few days.

Reception goes home 10pm, so hotel facilities are closed down. Just access to your room. Bike parking and car parking are up the street. Should have a fridge in the room.

Breakfast was visually impressive, but the products could be better quality. There was not much choice for lactose-free people.

We received a very warm welcome at the reception. The room was spacious and the beds were comfy. The bathroom was well arranged and clean. We were given an underground parking space (you can choose between the underground and open-air spaces).
