Excellent location, staff and service. Good quality breakfast too. Easy parking down the street (2 minutes walk). The bedroom for 3 people was large and felt very comfortable unlike other hotels that feel cramped. Great family owned business and staff. We hope to return again!

Two very minor things were that the curtains were not blockout curtains, so light did come through them. Not a big problem in winter where it’s still dark in the mornings, but could be problematic in summer. Another thing was noise from the room above us. We had a noisy family staying above us, where the kids were running around like crazy until late the night before and from very early in the morning. We could hear every step they took.

The beds were very comfortable and the location was great. The breakfast had numerous choices, all of which were delicious. The staff were so friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Property is really conveniently located in the centre of Lindau Island. It has a great breakfast and the staff are super friendly.

Room was ok but could do with some renovation, street where windows are looking is a bit noisy. There was a small water leak in the hallway of our room but staff was quick to help. I hated the fact that there is no elevator to get to second floor, stairs are quite small and steep they are also circular which is really problematic if you have a big suitcase.

The Brugger family is always extremely friendly and helpful. I have been a patron of this lovely hotel for years when traveling to the Lindau Insel area. The kindness, personality and hospitality is always superb.

My room was on the ground floor facing the street - I tried to keep my window open, but there's a lot of traffic outside and it was too noisy.

We loved everything! Eveline Brugger was always so welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious and clean and the location was great. In old town but easy to access. The staff were always so friendly and the breakfast was the best we have had! Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

Nothing - our stay was perfect.

Super clean room with friendly staff. Breakfast was varied and filling, and breakfast rooms/garden were lovely. Our room was spotlessly clean. Location on the island is right at the bridge, so getting there on foot from the train station is super easy. Highly recommend!

The bed was a bit on the hard side.

The personnell was very friendly and service excellent. We came in 2hrs early just to ask for place to keep our luggage and they gave us our room. Breakfast was good and sufficient and included to the room price. Room was spacious and bathroom also. Shower was also good.

The room was quite warm, despite the weather being cool, probably because it is on the third floor.

Our hostesses at reception were extremely helpful, providing us with great restaurant recommendations, information on places to visit, bike rental, etc. The location is great, easy walking distance to the main sights. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of food.

I can't think of anything we didn't like about Hotel Garni Brugger.

The proprietors and staff were superbly welcoming, answered our many questions, made suggestions for outings, and looked after us exceptionally well. Our needs were well met, and we'd definitely visit again!

Breakfast was decent, but I expected a bit more variety. The bacon and scrambled eggs get getting over very soon. And I found sausages only one day. Not much of a complain here, just that some more variety would've taken the experience that extra mile.

Fantastic location. Lindau Insel Station was a 5-7min walk. The hosts are extremely welcoming, They speak English and German which was very helpful for my husband who doesn't speak a lot of German. The room were huge! And they were warm. There's a restaurant in the next building. A few food shops within 2-3mins walk. Including Netto for cheap shopping.
