The only small minus was whirlpool that was part of a big pool, so water temperature was a bit lower than I expected.

As was traveling with children, our main plan was ZOO. And I think there is no better (closest) hotel to ZOO than this one :) We especially liked breakfast where great offer of food was provided.

The gym is a bit basic - handweights up to 10 kg and a couple of technogym resistance machines. You’re out of luck if you want to have a good muscle workout. Better selection of cardio machines though.

Great location, extremely comfortable beds, outstanding breakfast, great staff. Loads of great places to eat in the immediate vicinity. This will be our place to stay also next time.

Unclean bathroom, old shower door coated with dirt, old furniture in the junior suite, one chair’s leg falling apart , and the lounge is not worth a lounge. Generally not a five star for me.

Wow!! I loved this hotel. The staff are the nicest people I have ever met. So attentive and a real nice and warm welcome. The hotel was beautiful. The most beautiful place I have ever stayed and I am hard to please at times

Room view was a little disappointing, but not every room can have an amazing view. Unfortunately the gin bar was closed for renovation and we never got a chance to try it.

Bedroom and en-suite were immaculate and very comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, with a special mention to the pool/spa staff who made our anniversary spa day unforgettable. Location is very near the zoo, shopping centres/restaurants and the u-bahn and s-bahn to get around Berlin. Dinner at Beef 45 was fantastic and delicious and the staff were lovely. Staff were very accommodating and allowed us to leave luggage after we checked out for quite a few hours.

There were some issues with the payment for breakfast, but I feel it was mainly a misunderstanding. Had to give it up after 3 days but it’s not like there isn’t anything to eat around the hotel 💁🏻‍♀️

Everything was done well, the room was very spacious, the bed comfy and big, had a shower and a bath which was a great bonus. The Zoo station is mere 5 mins walk from the hotel and from there you could go anywhere in Berlin.

The housekeeper when came to my room to clean up and change bed sheets, left the clean ones over my dirty luggage... One lady at the reception was unfriendly...

In my original room the stupid tub leaked when I ran a shower. That should be fixed. Mopped it up with extra towels.

Great location and when there was a problem with cig smoke wafting into my room somehow they made it right and bumped me up to a suite. I stayed 5 days.

Too many people were using the elevators for private event on the 2nd floor (creating serious delays with going up to the higher floors).

Location is really the best (shopping area, and lots of restaurants and cafes). Spa was excellent , especially Melanes who was the best therapist for back pains..

The spa says it has a hot tub, however it is a connected bubble bath to the pool which is not so hot. So it’s a bit misleading in our opinion. The sauna area though is amazing with different aromas to use.

Bed was super comfy and also the bed linen! The room was clean and it felt spacious. The staff was super sweet and helpful.
