The premises are outdated and require refurbishing. The room was tiny, dusty and without any bathtub. The slippers were not provided by default, so we had to ask for them at the reception -- that's something I've never seen in any hotel that includes a wellness facility. The pool area is definitely worth renovating as it looks worn out and probably is too small to fit all clients at peak times. One more thing: I forgot my makeup bag in the bathroom. The bag is very small and only contains three items. Not only was I not informed of them finding it, but they also told me I would have to bear the delivery costs. This isn't the level of service one would expect from a 4-star hotel. They are definitely not ready to go extra mile there.

All in all, that was an interesting experience. The breakfast was delicious, the swimming pool was warm enough and quite empty in the morning. However, please keep in mind the hotel doesn't correspond to the 4-star standard, so don't be disillusioned.

Nice hotel in the heart of Binz with good rooms and amenities for the price. The rooms are a bit dated but they are in a good condition and definitely clean. Breakfast Was plentiful with good Selektion but in no means fancy. It seems a bit like a 50plus hotel.

The shower flooded the bath room and adjacent bed room instantly due to a malfunctioning drain. This should have been noticed by the cleaning personal in advance. Since there is no phone in the room - probably too old school - to call the reception we had to head down there in person to inform the receptionist who showed up a few minutes later with cleaning gear and Clorox in order to clean the drain while we were standing in our bathrobes. I would expect a hotel with this price tag immediately to move us to a new room and not have us standing there at 11pm. Clorox (Domestos) as pointed out to the receptionist in advance of course did not help with the blocked drain and by 23.30pm we were moved to the available room next door. This should have been the first course of action. Get the guest comfortably out of the way and deal with the drain the next day! Shit happens, no problem at all but please for 230 euro a night you might want to behave like the top establishment you claim to be! The least the management could have done would have been to send some sort of excuse or apology in form of a bottle of wine or anything to make up for the mess. Nothing at all happened. Only crickets from the receptionist the following day. We drove 450km to this hotel making this a 900km round trip for one night so naturally we are disappointed by the lack of service. No welcome bottle of water in the room, no small piece of chocolate on the pillow. Oh, apart from 4 Haribo Gummy bears! Really?! Vier Jahreszeiten and Gummy Bears is all you can come up with? The whole experience left a bitter taste compared to the experiences we had with other places of the same brand of Hotels in Munich or Hamburg. So far I used to take great service and attention to the little details for granted when choosing a Vier Jahreszeiten Hotel.

The location is great. Short walk to the beach. Supermarket near by. Beautiful beach. The breakfast was good, not quite to the Vier Jahreszeiten Standard you would expect though.

Bathroom was very small. The staff was not always so helpful (providing incorrect information, not allowing for late check out, etc.). The restaurant service was sometimes slow and unfriendly.

There was no possibility to cool the room down. I find it strange that this type of high end hotel does not have air condition, or at least the possibility to get a fan. We had to keep the door slightly open and the windows open in order to get som air moving in the room.

Excellent breakfast. Room was a bit small but ok. However was it too hot and no air condition and no fans. Location was great and very close to shopping beach and restaurants.

Close (10 minutes walking) from the station. The hotel also provide shuttle service from and to the station. Breakfast was amazing. I got a silver card that offers 10% discount at their facilities, also got free transportation card to use around Binz.

The hotel has is like a labyrinth with many stairs and elevators. We had do go from one building to other to take a lift and have breakfast, or use the swimming pool, etc. The lobby was way too simple and not beautifully decorated. When I reserved the room, I understood the hotel overlooked the beach but it's two streets away and we could not see the beach from my room. I am not sure if it's possible to see the beach from the other rroms. What annoyed me most was the waiter at the restaurant on the basement. We went there twice and we felt not welcome. We found the restaurant beautiful but he was way too arrogant... We were satying ina. room above the bar, and although we had planned to have drinks there, we did not do that because the way he treated us. We ended up eatin in the Kurhaus, which was excellent and having drinks in the Dolden Mädel every evening beacuse the drinks and staff were absolotely great.

They didn't have their minibar filled which they advertised about and for amenities only shampoo but not conditioner. And the room had a funny smell as I entered but everything looked clean..

The pool and sauna area was great! Proximity to the beach is super good and all in all this place is very beautiful but a tad bit expensive though. The breakfast buffet almost weighs up for it though, it was extensive.

Had some issues with the shower gel. This was provided as a 22ml platic bottle which is good for one shower. Two plastic bottles had to be replenished eveyday for a double room, not very eco friendly for a green hotel. Also there was no stand in the shower to put the shower gel, something small but very annoying. On our last day shower gel was missing, fortunately I had a spare. Our room did not have enough sockets to charge two phone. Had to unplug a lamp to do it or use the bathroom socket.

15 Euro per night for a dog + 1 Euro city tax on top is the most expensive charge that we have experienced in Europe so far. On the other hand we were glad that pets are allowed in this establishment.

We enjoyed the rich and high quality breakfasts. Staff at breakfast room was friendly and helpful. The room that we stayed at was cozy and clean. The spa and pool area is nice as well.

Rooms were very dirty. Front desk staff was not very well informed (e.g available Covid-19 test centers and regulations, road closures). The bar and some restaurants were temporarily closed/offered limited service due to missing staff and closed events without informing the other guests.

They insist on taking your car and parking it across the road and bringing it back on the last day. I left my jacket in the car and so I got to see how cramped and stacked above each other the cars are. The last day they moved our car to the front of the hotel and the car told us that there was a collision/accident exactly when they were moving it. It was a rented car and we would be the ones covering the cost. We asked to speak to the person who drove it. Who denied any wrong doing. The manager also did not want anything to do with it. Unfortunately it took 35 minutes for the manager to finally agree to write a letter and see from our point of view the situation we were in. Of course we were upset and very confused why they would not take any responsibilty for the fact the car was showing when the accident/damage happened and the fact they were moving it. The manager said we I was rude. I was upset that perhaps we would have to cover the costs. Would you be? Never mind, i had just tipped the driver €5 for doing it. In the end I refused to move for any less than the letter and finally (with resistance) they gave it to me. I will now wait to see if there was any damage to the car inside and hope there isn't. Because I am not hopeful they will pay. What was 4 days of a beautiful holiday, ended feeling very sad and frustrated by the manager and staff at the hotel. Do not trust them with your car And ask to look at where the cars are parked. hey do not want to show you for a reason. There cars and stacked and the person who drives them is clearly not capable of manouvering them well enough. Plus, lying and not taking responsibility.

Staff were amazing up until the last day. Breakfast is fantastic and so were most of the staff!
