Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesThe only negatives which didn't really bother me, but could really bother others is the counter space. It is all behind the sink. I wouldn't want to set up for a week with my stuff so far back. Also there are no face towels, but that seems like a German thing because it was the same at my primary hotel. People may complain about an airport shuttle, but it wouldn't make sense to have one. It is one stop away, but check the schedule. There is a lot of construction going on with scheduled delays. I didn't check the schedule, and I eventually just got a taxi
I booked this hotel based on proximity to Frankfurt airport. While I didn't spend much time there, it served its purpose wonderfully. Nice staff, easy proximity to public transport (no shuttle) and nice breakfast selection. The room itself was nicely sized, felt more American than European, and very comfortable bed.

IsraelNot the hotel's fault, but some of the exts of the iS-bahn station were closed which made the arrival from the train somewhat difficult. Also, the most dining options near the hotel close by 10PM, so if you arrive late make sure to bring food with you.
The hotel one S-bahn stop away from the airport, with a few dining options in walking distance. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good.

AustraliaThere were very limited stations with English speaking channels. Mainly news and a poor effort for a comedy channel. (Not the hotels fault) This was one reason I moved hotels however as I was not well and was looking for creature comforts. The room was a very comfortable place to retreat too. I couldn't get any of the streaming to work as it would show on the tv from my phone but would not connect with sound. Very frustrating when your not Tech savvy. I must say that the train being around the corner and from the hotel that links straight to the airport was mint. Made transiting very easy and straight forward.
This hotel was conveniently located not far from the city and the airport. Its a very quiet area and there is a small supermarket in walking distance from the hotel

IsraelI had dinner in the hotel restaurant (called Zoom, same space as for breakfast). It was pricey and quality was subpar as well as the service. The salad was with far too much vinegar, the fish itself was fine but was served with watery tasteless mashed potatoes and weird lentils and the dessert took ages to arrive (including a reminder after 20 minutes). The level should be improved.
The hotel is conveniently located on S-Bahn station from the airport, so if you need to catch an early morning flight like I did, it's great. Theoretically you can also tour the city from the hotel as the S-Bahn lines stop also at the central train station. The room is spacious and clean, the bed is large and comfortable and the shower is clean and water pressure is good. Breakfast is buffet with all the regular choices and a bit more, served in a nice space. All good.
